Surprised, appalled and regretful of their choice to have a son. On the other hand, I think they'd be slightly impressed.

I've got nothing in my history worth hiding from anyone. Anyone who knows me wouldn't be surprised by anything they see in my history.

The Escapist
Youtube
Steam
GoG.com
Weather.com
Dragon Age Nexus
IMDB
My bank's website
Various other gaming sites

Although when they get to wtfjapanseriously.com... yeah I would love to see their reaction to that.

And this is why you delete your browsing history (or at least the parts of it you don't want people to see).

They wouldn't be able to figure out how. Seriously, I had to help my mom spy on my dad once.

OT: If they did figure it out they'd probably deduce my religion has changed and completely freak out. There would be yelling, disowning, etc. Doubly so if they found out about my tattoo.

They were always uneasy about some of my interests, especially goth and anthro, but sometimes gaming.

I don't want to think about what would happen if I forgot to delete anything... "personal" in the search history...

Well since I clear my history at least once a week it would be a pretty mellow conversation.

If they could see all the stuff I deleted well then we might have a bit of a problem and screaming, lots and lots of screaming...

We would never speak to each other again or even make eye contact as they kick me out, my father acting very confused and my mother yelling "where did I go wrong?".

I feel proud in knowing this though.

Then again, I usually delete my browsing history regularly so they would have to catch me right before I do it to see anything... important.

wellll, there's a reason i delete my browsing history. When i was younger i got caught. Had the uncomfortable discussion with the parents about how porn is wrong... then the equally uncomfortable discussion about my being a lesbian.

They'd question my like of FIM till I tell them it's like Powerpuff Girls, but they wouldn't care about the porn. Probably cuz they already know.

Funny you should ask that, I was just going through it myself when my mom walked in. She asked what it was, and I explained I was trying to find something that I looked at earlier, some comic or something that I liked.
My verdict: Indifference

Confused. Despite all the time I spend on my PC, apparently I've never been on the Internet. I get Firefox to automatically clean my history and cookies.

Now, if they were to check my phones internet history, that'd be an interesting conversation.

Well they would find I spend waaay too much time on TvTropes for one. Other then that fairly standard YouTube, Escapist, IGN, TGWTGT, Spill, etc.

For whenever I look for something... unmentionable... on the computer I use Incognito.
Now please don't let them ever go through my post history on here.

My parents: "Is there seriously enough time in the day to flip through this many random wikipedia pages, combined with escapist, gametrailers, ign, wowhead, etc."

Me: "Yes"

Whenever one of my family members want to borrow my laptop to check their face book or email or anything, I throw them onto IE since Firefox has all the crap I look at: groups of youtube vids I repeat over and over cause I like the music, Fanfiction... I don't want them looking at that, stuff I google up, more fanfiction, this place, and of course, my 4chan tab...more or less just /m/.

But they wouldn't find anything in my history since whenever I do look for certain things, I private it. Although, if they did check the /m/ tab, they would somehow wander into /b/...and then maybe some of the worst parts of it.

...anyone ever accidentally wander over to any other part of 4chan just cause you were curious?

Wow, how much time do you need to spend on the Internet. What is this stuff anyways, Escapist, TVTropes, YouTube, reddit, Acts of Gord?

Good thing private browsing can't be brought up. >.> <.<
