How the public (your school, work etc) sees you

I'm not very highly regarded at my school, which is fine, because everyone there is a moron.

What really pisses me off is the 'smart=nerd' stereotype, and how being a raging whore is now the norm (among girls, anyway).

Or perhaps that's always been the norm, I really don't know...

I'm definitely seen as a nerd. I mean, my favorite show is Firefly, I love anime, I play video games constantly, and I wear shirts that say all of those things proudly.

"the new kid who isn't cool but likeable and plays guitar so it's OK".
this is what my friend Sophie said when we were discussing how me and my mates aren't cool but don't care.

i dont like being called a geordie by people over xbox live as i am a mackem, and i proud one at that. these people assume that i am uneducated, illiterate and poor because i come from sunderland. i think all people from the north east are stereotyped in this way.

i have rather long-ish hair, so immediatley i am a mosher.
i listen to Daft Punk, so immediatley i am a mosher (since the tards in my school think that Daft Punk are punk, therefore they know nothing of good music)
i play games a lot, so immediatley i am a nerd/geek/no-life.
i OCCASIONALLY watch wrestling, so immediatley i am gay/queer.
my brother watches Anime, so immediatly i wank over cartoons. i'll repeat that, my BROTHER, watches Anime, yet I am the one who is said to wank over cartoons.

yes, i go to school with a bunch of twats who think that their balls are the size of mangos, and that attempting to pull everyone down probably gives them a boner.

Depends where I am. In English, I am the guy who knows everything, falls asleep a lot, can remember obscure quotes and remarks off the top of my head, odd, but rather funny. With my Music peeps I am The Awesome, the moshbeast, crazy headbanger, ridiculously-low-voiced singer, always good for a laugh and can't go outside on days like this because I burn ridiculously easily, with my gigging peeps (somewhat a spillover from the Music peeps) I am the sombrero-stealing crazy dancer, headbanger and moshbeast, the one with the awesome hair, the one who always gets the crowd going, and with everyone else I'm a pretty cool guy, hwo acts wiedrly and doesn't afraid of anything. :D

Also, random drunk people ask me if I'm Status Quo (to which I assume they mean Rick Parfitt, as opposed to all of them), or think I'm a girl and hit on me (although, thankfully, the beard has lessened that).

well if you asked the students at my school they would be stuck between a nerd and a jock. Personally I'm a nerd. I played football and was pretty good at it, so that got some people wondering lol.

I am basically the ninja of my school. I'm pretty much invisible to all, except a few friends.
I wear Aeropostale, American Eagle, and most of my jeans have holes or tears in them so I guess that makes me a douchebag? Just because I like the brands and that I look good in them?
On the Escapist, just some random poster.

Haha no not really. I get along with everyone and I go to all the parties and stuff.

Life's pretty alright for me. I'm just not a massive fan of the rugby boys who are all too muscly to be attractive and can't seem to keep it in their pants D= But then again, maybe I'm stereotyping them!

I'm totally not though, they are all genuinely douche bags.

Friends as a nerd I guess, who wears the wrong clothes all the time.
Guess they all have hit the nail on the head.

In High school Teachers saw me as wildly intelligent (not to be confused with school smarts) but quite lazy. Most students saw me as that quiet and possibly mentally unstable kid at the back of the class, occasionally giving very accurate answers to difficult questions...

People didn't screw with me in HS, But Middle school bullys almost sent me over the edge...

As the redheaded geeky goth chick who seems to know her way with Insurance laws and ICD-9 codes. The one to ask tech questions or get the latest news on computers and technology.

I'm seen either as the "quiet guy" or the "loud, funny, manic guy". It all depends on who I'm with. The general consensus though seems to be that most people seem to think I'm "weird" regardless.
This. Completely. It always depends who it is, since you act differently around different people.

Me? I have a reputation for knowing everything, compounded by my tendency to know everything. I'm also known as the extremely tall, nice, often absentminded philosopher scientist guy.
Wow, that describes me perfectly, apart from I may also be seen as an adrenaline junkie to some people

I'm, apparently, a huge emo and, as they put it, "a huge ******".

Now, I won't argue the emo part, because that is just my style (Jimmy Eat World and ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead are simply amazing bands) but being gay? Nah, I'm not. I really don't know why people make that assumption off the bat...

Well, I wear a red star, and I live in the United States. So of course I must be...

a fascist. It makes perfect sense - to someone living in this absolutely politically ignorant country. As a socialist, I will calmly explain to someone why they're incorrect when they compare my views to Stalin's. When the people here compare my views to Hitler (which happens all the time), that's when my shit has been officially flipped.
