There are probably far cheaper alternatives to half the stuff they suggested. I mean really, who has 1000 bucks to waste looking like a brazillian gang member?
I got a complete set of combats, with boots and an assult vest just as good as the one they offer, for £120 (about $80 dollars, when i bought them the exchange rate equivalent would have been about $60 dollars)

I seriously doubt the slum-dwelling Brazilian gang member would be wearing a $500 pair of boots. Or a $100 watch. Or a $150 pair of sunglasses. Or a $100 backpack. Or a $170 pair of pants. Or hell, even a $10 bandanna. And the Brazilian soccer jersey was probably a $5 knockoff he bought from a street vendor.

Also, wearing a tactical vest and a ski mask on the streets seems like a good way to draw attention from the police.

Looking like a tool, not just the domain of white middleschoolers anymore.
Now you, yes you, can be in the army... and look like a tool.

This is just stupid. I looked at it and estimated how much money (at most) you could actually make these costumes for here's some numbers:

Brazilian Gangster: $190
Soap: $200
Russian Terrorists (That's not TF141): $200

There's also some unnecessary items in Echo's costumes. I don't see a watch on either Soap or the Brazilian Gangster so why would you need to buy one? Also, you could just replace the under armor hood and the beanie and use a balaclava instead. Something tells me Marc Echo is trying too hard.

I thought it was John Price, not John MacTavish. And wasn't 'Wolverines!' set in West Virginia? And aren't those Spetsnaz soldiers?

Play the game prior to offering overpriced goods pertaining to it.

Too bad they didnt tell us how to look like Ghost, hes too bad ass to NOT be on that list. I did like that North Face jaket for the TF141 though, looks like something good to replace my aging L.L. Bean jacket.

Lastly, none of their suggested outfits even remotely resemble anything in the game. They can't even get the damn colours right. Snow camo is WHITE for a reason.
Yeah I was thinking that too. Especially the boots. Beige =/= snow camo...

You can get an uniform for much cheaper from a military surplus store. Of course you can also join the army and get a uniform for free, along with matching arsenal and war-torn surroundings.
And the PTSD.

Soap is his first name. Soap McTavish
No, "Soap" is just a code name. His first name is never given
It's John.
Thats captain prices name
http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/MacTavish

It's near the bottom.
You raise a good arguement BUT its a wikipedia, that means that it could of easily been changed by someone that also thought John was his first name Muhaha, anyway its not mentioned in the game sooooo I dont agree

nothing wrong with dressing in that direction...I mean it's nothing outlandish or anything weird you'd wear to a convention

but really, we don't need it through catalogue order haha
especially at those prices

Wouldn't it be cheaper to go to a disposal store or join the reserves?

I find it funny it costs 1k to look like a brazilian gang member, when the avg brazilian gang member would only spend 50 bucks on his whole attire and 50 more on an AK
