You have the greatest game in existance, your friends (and enemies) have been playing it for a month, but every time you go to play it, your Mother come's in, says you play on "These Machines" too much and makes you do some crappy chore and then insist that you go out on your bikes even though you've done that for the last three days in a row and there's only one good place to cycle to where you live and it's getting boring and your bikes are shit.

A white room filled with every game you ever wanted and ever will want for xbox 360.

You put in a game and you get the red ring of death.

You have all the consoles and every game you could ever want and an hd tv etc. You are however locked in with someone who doesn't like video games and keeps asking annoying questions.

How about not playing games at all? Like having gaming heaven except you have no hands and electricity. Or maybe you need to get the electricity by cutting off your hands.

You'd be placed in a room with all games but each console has a huge fault, The Xbox will overheat every 5 minutes and the PS3 will lose its save function. In the background you constantly hear a faint noise, you focus... Heeyyyyyy Listen!!!! Hey hey! Listen!

You're sat in a plain white room for all eternity, with nothing but bread, water and a watch.
No games, no other people. Just you living forever.
I agree with this guy, that would be hell. And not just for gamers but pretty much everybody ever.

Having to watch all your favourite games played by a complete novice who has skipped the tutorial. As soon as they get anywhere near the definition of reasonable, they get replaced by either a significantly more obnoxious person, a person from an older generation, or a child who's only real interest is ice cream. Which they get all over the controller.
You are tied to a chair out of reach of the players and are unable to shout them advice. The screen is projected onto your eyelids so you can't even avoid watching.

You can get any console and game you ever want. Even infinite amounts of food and drink.
But you may never do anything else. Not even sleep.

Superman 64, nonstop. Just one giant ring course that goes on forever. And the game actively hates you, so the better you get at it the more the controls fuck up or whatever.

And every once in a while on completely unexpected intervals, it does a red/blue strobe thing on the screen or emits an ungodly loud beep or something to wake you up. Except you're already wide awake because you have constant unbearable restless leg syndrome or something and they keep shooting you with adrenalin, except you can't move besides using the controller, you can't even blink or scratch that itch or move your legs or look away from the screen, and you just have to sit there on your knees on a hard stone floor for the rest of eternity.

I think that would be hell.

Dozens of excellent multiplayer only games and not a person or internet connection in sight. A gamer's hell would be a lonely one, aye it would.

Also, forgot an apostrophe in the title there, chief.

Halo 3

AHHHH HA! Had you going there.

You have to watch everyone play increasingly better games but you can never play them yourself or watch them play the games.

Gaming Hell for me would be having to play Alien vs Predator 2 in the alien nest with 1 hp, no armor and only the knife or alternatively being forced to play EVE-Online in a amarr impairor when everything else is supercapital (including the belt rats in 1.0 sec ).

Gamer Hell:

You wake up like any normal day, it's your day off. You know it's your day off somehow. You sit behind your computer, it's release day for the game you waited for so long.

The game you followed every trailer, every dev diary. The game you scoured the internet for since word reached of it's development. It's the golden grail of games. The Fable with all promised features. The Fallout that goes from east to west coast and comes with Europe, Asia and Australia as DLC packed. It's the Elder Scrolls: Tamriel. It's Prototype where you can control every facet of your evolution and can powerjump from Paris to DC in a single fluid motion. It's Call of Duty: Evolution, where you start in WW2 and end up in the far future, every level a theatrical experience blowing Modern Warfare out of the water. It's the Final Fantasy VII remake that lets you take Ragnarock into space to visit all the Final Fantasy worlds.

You watch the download finish. Your heart swells with glee and pure joy as the last seconds tick away on the download status. The pure blissfulness of the situation overwhelming your thoughts, you click Play.

A screen appears, it's loading. Your heart races, your breath stops. Faintly your aware of the sound of blood rushing through your ears. Then disaster strikes.

An unknown error 31C560CD has occured.

You scour the internet for a fix, and find one! You follow all the 21 required steps to the letter and you reboot your PC while chanting the litany of the gaming-omnisiah. You click play.

An unknown error 32C560CD has occured.

No matter how many fixes you try. Regardless of how many reboots, reinstalls, chants, sacrifices to the blood god you make. It won't let you run the game. You will come closer each time, you get to watch the cinematic intro, the nvidia intro, the developers into. You might even see the main menu. But each time you start the game a new error appears, again and again, forever and ever.

Stuck in a room with nothing to do but play ET for the Atari 2600

[HEADING=1][Strong]BUT[/Strong][/HEADING]

Jack Thompson and Micheal Atkinson are making out right next to you whenever they aren't berating you for playing.

It would be a place full of nothing but war shooters while all original, colorful and imaginative stories and protagonists would be replaced with men in their 30's with short haircuts and stubble. All Genres would be dead except FPS's, Rare would abandon all their awesome IP's like Killer instinct, Banjo and Conker to become a casual game market. Team Sonic would only make epic trash so bad their iconic mascot would become the most infamous joke in the entire industry. Last but not least, game companies would become so corporate that everything is now just stale commission work for men in suits and what they would constitute as a sell.

That would be gamer hell... oh wait.
