How Would You Kill Wolverine?

Well, from what comics say, as long as one cell in his body survives, he'll get back up. He has survived a nuclear blast (when he was caught in Nitro's explosion during Marvel Civil War.) He's been shot, stabbed, crushed, blown up, dropped out of planes. Not to mention having Magneto rip out his skeleton, (not counting the Ultimate Universe where Magneto's powers let him atomize Wolverine.) And most importantly, covered with scorpions (bonus points to all who get that reference.) The only thing i could think of would be take away his air. I mean, the guy has to breathe.

Just make him depressed enough... He'l start to age.

The only two ways I could envision of killing a man who's powers of regeneration essentially equal indestructability would be as follows:

Plan A: Drown him, theoretically his regeneration would only respond to physical trauma (so having a limb cut off for example), but in cases of drowning there is no physical trauma to regenerate from (his death is the result of the absence of oxygen, you can't regenerate from being unable to breathe).

Plan B: Starvation, such rapid and powerful regeneration would theoretically require a massive amount of energy to function (kind of like how the human bodies natural repair and immune system is weakened when we're stressed, malnourished and otherwise deprived of nutrients and other important substances). Leave him in an inpentatratable Adamantium chamber with deep cuts all over the body and never open it, if suffocation (see above) doesn't kill him then the fact that he would be consuming calories like there's no tomorrow (resulting in either ceasing to function or causing his body to devour itself).

Bingo, one dead 'invincable' super hero.

Why would I want to kill Wolverine? He's awesome! But, if I had to, I'd probably go with incinerating him. He can't regenerate if every single cell in his body is ash. All that'd be left would be a metal skeleton.

I'd use my MAGNETIC powers to make Iron Man and Cyclops fire their beams at him cuz I can control complex electronics too now for some unexplained reason, then use MAGNETISM to... uh... burn him! Yea, cuz magnetism burns flesh too! Oh, but he still has a disembodied hand stuck in my chest? It's not like he can regenerate from a single cell, so forget it! Nope, he is dead. BY MAGNETISM!

Oh, and if my arm were to get chopped off, I'm not worried, because I can use MAGNETISM to cauterize it! MAGNETISM!

And why would all this happen? Well, I used my MAGNETIC powers to tilt the Earth's MAGNETIC axis! This somehow causes massive global catastrophes, rather than just confusing the hell out of a few birds with little impact on the Earth itself like those dumb scientists say would happen. Screw them, they can't control the awesome power of MAGNETISM!

MAGNETISM CAN DO ANYTHING!!!! ANYTHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!!

If it isn't obvious, I am not a fan of the X-men, especially Magneto. And especially especially ULTIMATE Magneto. And especially especially especially Ultimate Magneto in Ultimatum. Ugh.

The same way you'd kill a vampire:
Stake his heart (no blood circulation -> no brain activity -> unconsciousness -> imbobilization), cut his head off and set him on fire (no head -> no regenaration; the fire is just to make sure).

Well, there's one way that will work for sure but the downside is that we'd have something far worse to contend with.

They'll pretty much grind him down into raw materials in order to make themselves stronger, the downside being that now we have a load of indestructible robot spider things to destroy. Which is unfortunately a hell of a lot worse.

This is something that me and a couple friends have gotten into long debates over. Keep in mind, we exclude the possibilities that are available in the X-Men universe but not our own. So far the best idea that we've come up with is introducing HIV into his system, but we can't even decide if this would work because he regenerates/heals.

How would you kill Wolverine if you had to?

Im going to make a naruto reference here, how did shikimaru beat hidan? Well for people that dont know blew him up and hidans body fell into a ditch shikimaru made under hidan as it was planned and blew up the stucture of the ditch so hidan couldnt get out of the ditch forever stuck underground immortal and all, that is how you beat an immortal in naruto lol if this would work for somone with a adamantium frame dunno.

Canonically, the only way to kill Wolverine is by drowning him. Anything else - up to and including a direst nuclear strike - he can regenerate as long as one cell remains.

Adamantium guillotine obviously. Get magneto to put his hands and head in the stocks (he can't break out cos he doesn't have inhuman strength) and cut his head and hands off with the adamantium guillotine. Dead.
