I never got into Mass Effect 1. But this series is looking promising. I might check it out in the future

wonder what going to hapend when someone haven´t played Mass Effect and plays Mass Effect2 ???

It may be something like KotOR2, where you dictate what happened in the previous game with a few dialogue choices at the start.

Might be something alone the lines of you having Conrad Werner run up to you and say something like "So I heard you did X on Y planet!" and then you get to either confirm his story or correct it to make your choices.

I dunno though, will have to wait and see.

I deleted my save file after getting 100%.

I really don't care about how it will affect things in the next. I'd rather have a fresh start, especially considering a high level soldier was pretty much invincible, but it's nice that they're keeping to what they said in the beginning.

Is Mass Effect 2 coming out at the same time for the PC? If not, then forget it.

From all the information we have at the minute its looking like a simultaneous release for both PC and Xbox 360. Oh and they have altered the combat system in such a way as to prevent the old invincible solider trick along with biotic spamming, etc.

that's pretty awesome they are building that into the game. tho bioware has typically be really good at making rpg's and dealing with being a good person and being a jerk and how it affects the game play

This sounds pretty cool, gotta get Mass Effect back to replay. First playthrough I was bored out of my mind and way too much dialogue, but that could've just because I had 3 other games I wanted to get to.

This sounds amazing, I sincerely hope that BioWare manages to deliver, that they won't go all Peter Molyneux on us, that would disappoint me to no ends... Especially since it seems I have to keep that 10GB install of Mass Effect on my HDD.

Ah, thats cool. I guess I'm looking forward to it a little more, then.

But even if I had my old save with my pretty much infinite pool of money and extremely powerful character, I'd still start a new game. I guess I'd carry on if I hadn't literally done EVERYTHING on the game, but I still always like the idea of a fresh start.

I think I have an old Vanguard character, actually, that I only played through with once. I guess I'm looking forward to Mass Effect 2 more than I thought!

wow, so this game will be huge. I'm thinking it will dwarf Mass Effect 1 in scale, scope and story. I'm glad they are doing this and not going the way KOTOR 1 and 2 went in terms of how the story carried over from 1 to 2.

omg your probaly on to somthing like all games will adapated to this coresing people to buy obsalet games they dont need and give game companys like bethesda softworks (cuz they make rpgs like fallout) more money then contrys adventuly starting in somesort of super game studio war.
