What? Their store was irrational before? "Welcome to the square-root-of-three Game!" And since when is "trial" a verb? How about "we're TRYING kiosks"? Corporate-speak irks my inner grammar nazi.Logan Westbrook said:"We have also rationalized our store... We are trialing interactive kiosks...
I have to say this pretty much sums it up.Delusibeta said:It may be the case that GAME stores have a habit of clustering together and are usually near GameStation stores (which are owned by the same company).Xzi said:But according to all the big publishers like EA and Activision, retailers like these are making billions by greedily taking away their profits. yeah, right hahaha. after managing a game retailer, i can personally verify that if it weren't for used games, which these publishers are trying to do away with, the stores would never have any way to stay open. they take all the damn profits, leaving jack and shit left for the store. ESPECIALLY on hardware sales.Xzi said:But according to all the big publishers like EA and Activision, retailers like these are making billions by greedily taking away their profits. What gives?
I take a little offence to that since I work at GAME and as an employee (I think that's what you meant to write) we're actually really good in my store and we're told that by most of the customers. For most of you you shouldn't have to worry about main branches closing it's let space ones.Lord George said:seriously GAME employers are some of the most unhelpful people in retail.
You sir live in Reading.ultimateownage said:Well, I have 2 games here so I should be fine, I hope they shut down the crappy small one, not the nice one in the oracle though.
We have two GAME stores here too. God knows why, they're literally within the same street not to mention one is right next to a Gamestation store.ultimateownage said:Well, I have 2 games here so I should be fine, I hope they shut down the crappy small one, not the nice one in the oracle though.
