Those are all awesome games. Too bad I already own all of them. But anyone that doesn't own all of them should definitely jump on that. Especially for Bastion. That game is amazing. Bought it for 20 bucks when it came out and it was worth every penny. Bought the soundtrack too.

It's worth it just for Bastion (which is such a unique game in the way that it is "told" as opposed to how it plays), the narrator seriously just makes the entire game worth it alone.
I already had Bastion but bought the bundle anyway for $20 because I feel people really should support such awesome deals/charity bundles like this.
Don't know if im going to dare play Amnesia, because I'm a jumpy person as it is and get the shit scared out of me by mild jump scares in any game, let alone a whole game based on that sort of stuff. Maybe I'll do it for the purpose of making my friends laugh.

Edit: And soundtracks people! I can vouch for the Bastion soundtrack being absolutely an amazing bonus with this bundle.

I already have Amnesia, Limbo, and Psychonauts (PS2). Those three games are incredible

I'm dying to play Bastion, but then I looked at the upcoming game release schedule, summer plans, and the 400 bucks I need to pay towards my registration crap. My friend doesn't have a credit card and is begging me to gift it to her (she doesn't care much for Bastion, so she'll live without it. Pfft, her loss). I REALLY want Bastion and I'm willing to pay the 8 or so in order to get it (since that's just over 50% off). Does anyone know if we can break the bundle so I can give her the games I already own and hog Bastion all to myself? This is my first Humble Bundle and I really want to give SOMETHING.

EDIT: Scratch that. Seems like sharing it with a friend (...and only one friend) seems too close to pirating on second glance.

I didn't like Amnesia or Limbo, yes I beat both. I just didn't see what others were seeing.

Previous humble bundles have had their Steam keys broken up before. I gave a buddy of mine the Trine/Shadowgrounds code because I already had all the games connected to that code and nothing happened when I tried entering it anyway. Odds are Bastion gets its own code because not everyone will get it. Someone else will have to verify though.

As someone who very much fell in the same boat who was blown away by Silent Hill 2 when they gave it a try on the recent HD re-release; I'd say give it a try, as you never know how much you may come to like horror. (at least the subtle psychological kind; I will never ever go near modern torture porn)

I've been a horror-phobe pretty much all my life. But I love psychology, and horror may be one of the best places in media to find it. Amnesia will be my third horror game (will be playing SH3 first) ever.

I'm not sure if I'll be jumping into the deep end myself either; but my advice is to use a camcorder and film the playthrough for youtube. That way if it does screw with you a little too much for comfort; other folks can get some damn good entertainment out of watching your reactions.

Actually I have played through Silent Hill: Homecoming and I did really quite enjoy that. I know it's not considered to be as good as the others but the atmosphere that it builds is still really great. You're always clammering for ammo and feel very alone and the ambient sound is just brilliant. I liked the kind of horror in that game because you made your own fear because I was just constantly anticipating something jumping out at me round every corner, but there wasn't and so I just became uber paranoid and jumped out my skin at the slightest twitch. (I remember at the start of that game a wheelchair flies down a flight of stairs towards you and I almost fell off my chair - if a game can scare you like that its won IMO). I think horror that makes your own imagination do the work is actually really interesting, but I can only take too much before I become a mess of adrenaline and nerves xD.

I only care about Bastion and Limbo from that group and I already have Limbo. I may go in on it just to get Bastion.

I don't care that you posted another thread, as far as im concerned the entire front page could be threads about this and i wouldn't care.

These are some of the best games i have ever played and you are a terrible person if you don't pay the $7 to also get the bastion and its soundtrack. There i said it. No if you will excuse me my guitar is tuned just right to play "In case of trouble"

Wow, that song is incredibly generic. Why am I a bad person for not caring about "generic western backing track 13?"

I would buy that SO fast if I didn't already own all those games.

How dare you sir? Psychonauts is one of the most clever and best written games ever. Hell, even Yahtzee didn't hate it! You should care about it.

You bet your ass I bought that! Humble Bundles are the only real time I buy games these days.

I checked my email using my phone while laying half awake this morning, and thought I must have been dreaming until I double-checked it just now. What an amazing anthology of games.

Bastion has a separate key but you cant give it away as far as Im aware. When you try to use it it comes up with an error sayign you dont have the main bundle. It does say on the website that the bundles only for you and you cant gift away games.

But to be fair...its like 7 bucks to get all 5 games haha

4 great games.
The only downside here: every PC game enthousiast will have bought these games already. There have been many sales before and those games started out cheap to begin with. Worth every penny.

Yeah, definitely the best thing. Presumably it's even better if your computer can actually run any of the damn things... Why the hell does Bastion even need ultra-pixel-mebobber-70-billion-or-whatever-it-is anyway? Isn't it completely sprite based and 2D?

Ah well, in a decade or two I'll finally upgrade to a 21st century computer and get to play these games. It's not like I paid full price for them, so I can't complain too much.
Is Bastion really that taxing on a computer? I can play it on a laptop that can barely play Fallout 3, and I don't think it's considered 2D or sprite based, it's cartoonish but you travel on an isometric field

OT: Any word on how good that sword and sorcery game is? I've played all the rest (And they are brilliant BUY NOW) except for that one
