Its a Krogan, not a Batarain. For gods sake, look at its stance, the large bit of flesh on its back. Its Krogan. The only Batarain looking bit is the number of eyes, and they aren't even in the correct location.

Look at the weird wrinkle thing in it's head. That looks Batarian too >.>

OT: the big husk in the photo (if it is a husk, could be an entirely new enemey) doesn't appear to be batarian cause they are not that big nor a krogan cause the physical appearance does seem to match. To continue my nerdy opinion, I think that is a Yahg (Shadow Broker boss)created husk. It appears to be as big as one and the Yahg do have several eyes and a giant maw for a mouth like the husk depicted in the photo.

Fighting the Shadow Broker wasn't that bad but to fight a Reaper infected horde of them? well that's just nightmarish

People think it's a batarian husk? It's too big and has the wrong number of eyes to be a batarian. Remember what angry Shepard said in Bring Down the Sky: "Two eyes human, four eyes batarian." Four eyes, not five. And that husk clearly has five eyes.

It's actually probably not any specific race at all. ME2 had a lot of husk enemies that were basically made by them mashing lots of regular human husks together. So the thing with 5 eyes and a scary looking cannon is just probably that: some regular husks smashed together to make a new type of super-husk.
Or it could be a brand new race too.

Remember the Geth got husk technology from the Reapers, and it was only that faction of fanatic geth which were destroyed / reprogrammed in the previous game.

Looks like a Yahg husk to me, the size of the body AND the eyes only resemble a yahg (the shadow broker if you don't know what I'm talking about).
