It's a reference to Zhao Yun's outfitMalconvoker said:One thing that I noticed all through out the trailer was that scarf Link has and that I think it looks really cool for some reason.
Because they aren't done yet? I mean, really now, they don't even have an official title for it. Hyrule Warriors is simply a placement name. I would think a gaming heavy website such as Esscapist can tell the difference between a game coming out in two months, and a game that's probably going to go through another 10 months of development time.sneakypenguin said:First thing I noticed was there is no grass/muddy ground textures(perhaps fault of youtube)... Second was why does the animation blow I mean I know there's a lot on screen but why do things rotate in place with minimal turning animation and slide around with no physical connection with the world.
Its cool that they are doing something different with loz but whys it look so much like a junk DW game, wrapped in a zelda skin.
Not really, there's massive changes in the gameplay systems and basic game structure in every release (except for Empires and Xtreme Legends spin-offs).josemlopes said:Just get a Dinasty Warrior game instead as they are all the same and its a lot cheaper, you can even get them with robots, anime characters or just a bunch of vanilla chinese dudes and dudettes.Spaceman Spiff said:This looks pretty cool. Technically Nintendo isn't developing it, which I'm seeing a lot of people thinking that they are. Tecmo Koei are the ones that are making the game, Nintendo is just letting them use the Legend of Zelda IP. Nintendo will probably oversee certain things and give okays or nays about certain things they can and can't do, but really that's about it.CrazyCapnMorgan said:I now want to bomb arrow ALL TEH THINGS!
Seriously, this can be a fun concept if implemented correctly. Color me interested in seeing what Nintendo can do with this.
In that case, I'm interested with what Nintendo is comfortable in allowing to happen. But if bomb arrows aren't allowed, I will be a sad Capn.Neronium said:Technically Nintendo isn't developing it, which I'm seeing a lot of people thinking that they are. If Nintendo gives Tecmo Koei some leeway then the game will turn out just fine. This isn't the first game that Tecmo Koei has made using a popular franchise.CrazyCapnMorgan said:In that case, I'm interested with what Nintendo is comfortable in allowing to happen. Don't forget about close to over half the characters loosely based on actual people...josemlopes said:Just get a Dinasty Warrior game instead as they are all the same and its a lot cheaper, you can even get them with robots, anime characters or just a bunch of vanilla chinese dudes and dudettes.Spaceman Spiff said:This looks pretty cool.
