Oh--major bummer! I hope they find somewhere to do the shows. Though, if it's not making money here, then that may be a problem anywhere. Not too many people want to spend all their money entertaining a bunch of strangers.trooper6 said:I just found out there'll be no more Ax here. This makes me very, very sad. At least there is still Rebecca Mayes.

Adverts, and they announced it on their Facebook and blogs.fnartilter said:trooper6 said:I just found out there'll be no more Ax here. This makes me very, very sad. At least there is still Rebecca Mayes.
Noooo! Why didn't they announce this? I was at least expecting bold headlines saying "No more IHWMA!" woe, my weekly viewing of fun stuff has diminished.
Out of curiosity how do they make money off the shows? I never notice product placement or anything. Game reviews sway my decision in buying games, but that doesn't get the reviewer money.
Poppin? I don't know if I'd go that far.Connieparts said:ha ha, also, I was scrolling around a bunch and just quoted the first thing I saw that said "Granite city" Didn't realize that there were 3 whole different people who mentioned Granite City in the thread. GC, IL is officially poppin!

Oh, well. As long as there are still going to be episodes somewhere on the interwebs, I'm happy.
Funny you should mention that...trooper6 said:I just found out there'll be no more Ax here. This makes me very, very sad. At least there is still Rebecca Mayes.
I know, right! When I heard they were both going...I thought...well, there go my main two reasons to visit the Escapist. I'll probably go back to being an occasional lurker again.Sunder845 said:Funny you should mention that...trooper6 said:I just found out there'll be no more Ax here. This makes me very, very sad. I know it is a bit of a late reply, but I figured I may as well answer with the slight hope that you may see this.fnartilter said:trooper6 said:I just found out there'll be no more Ax here. This makes me very, very sad. At least there is still Rebecca Mayes.

ARE there still going to be episodes somewhere? because the escapist has definately handled this poorly. i was hoping they were just taking a break. oh real question here, where, if there are, will new episodes be?RandallJohn said:I think it's incredibly lame that The Escapist didn't tell us Axe was cancelled. Zak said that he'd have new stuff up at his blog. Apparently, he's got episodes produced and ready to go, but I haven't seen any.cricket chirps said:ARE there still going to be episodes somewhere? because the escapist has definately handled this poorly. i was hoping they were just taking a break. oh real question here, where, if there are, will new episodes be?RandallJohn said:I think it's incredibly lame that The Escapist didn't tell us Axe was cancelled.
