But really, I started sewing and now I've got an online business well on it's way to being able to support me. I'm 2 years in. By my calculations in another two years I'll be able to quit my job and just do this for a living.

I just started up again like five days ago, I need to make some patterns for stuff(read awesome plushies), 'cause I'm not too bad at it, and it's fun!

Do you need a bad-ass hobby, or a bad ass-hobby? The difference is subtle but is vitally important to what I end up suggesting.
