A monster that becomes a mirror image of you and if you perform an action the mirror image can't due to obstructions etc it attacks you. And if you don't give it anything to mimic it gets bored and attacks you.

Hoping that's original I just thought of it there
Right then i'll get your Mirror image concept then, and the obstructions. But instead of it getting bored i'll just make it show mental images of your loved ones being ripped apart or something so the victim HAS to move, whether in Anger or whatever else.
Man that's even better. Lovin it and thanks for liking the idea

Try going the House Of The Dead route and having failed experiments in bioengineering, like zombies, that are based on the cards of the Major Arcana of the Tarot.

Actually, scratch that, I'm using that idea myself. It's too awesome for anyone else to use ;). You could always try using mythical creatures like harpies and succubi and incubi...
For canon fodder perhaps.....i like my story to be as original as i can make it, so.....yeah.

A monster with a constantly shifting, flickering state. Maybe could change between thousands of human images, at random, or from the targets memory. There features could never move, but they would still speak in maybe a constant sorrowful monotone.

That could work too....but i need it to do something malevolent......ok, i'll make it capitalize on the target's guilt or something, or maybe to lure him in a trap.

Just gonna throw it out there, a monster with bile green skin, five arms top two have serrated fingers (six fingers) bottom are almost brick like in shape with little hooks all around the edges, and a middle arm in the chest that pick up and use object just as well as any human. These guys wouldn't be much bigger than 3 feet, but hunt in packs and are ambush predators. The body would be very thin with a flexible spine, and the relax like a snake about to strike, that being spine going out around the chest but moves back as it gets closer to the head. It has seven eyes, three in the front, two in the back, one on each side. They have a very fast metabolism so they eat and breed very quickly, and live for about a month. They're body is covered in a very viscous fluid to help protect them from attacks and to allow them to stick and climb surfaces. They generally nest in mountain caves, but as their food source runs out they'll move to new locations and nest in abandoned building or whatever fits them.

Huh, doesn't seem that bad considering I made that up as I went along.

I'd probably be more inclined to create a monster for you if I knew the purpose for which it was intended otherwise you're probably going to get something a little generic.

No, I'm pretty sure it was just Sin from FFX except it didn't have someones estranged dad who is actually a dream but still manages to destroy a percentage of the world anyway at its core.

OT: I want to see a game where your team-mates are your ultimate enemies and you have to butcher them as a final boss sequence. Maybe they're Terminators but also Decepticons.

Take a perfectly ordinary beaver and turn it to a carnivorous beaver that hunt in packs
and gnaw people limbs off. Its the perfect monster! Think about it.
It's the middle off the night. Then suddenly the electricity dies. What happen?

The beaver gnaw off the cables, soon they will start to eat through the door, you try too run
and take a boat out to the sea, but beavers can swim so they gnaw trough the boat.
And the best thing about them being monster? Nobody would suspect them because they look like
ordinary beavers. FEAR THEM!

Utilise the uncanny valley.
Have the monster be a shapeshifter that starts out in a wierd complete alien form with lots of tentacles and eyes and shit, but with every encounter, it starts looking and acting just a little more human, until the disguise is almost completely perfect... but just almost.
For extra mindfuckery, make it's human disguise emulate specific traits of the hero characters.

A monster that you can only see through the corner of your eye. It's probably been done, but the concept of that scares the shit out of me.
Hey, that cannot work.

When you turn around, you are completely blind. Really, Try to see when you are turning. There is a slight delay. This is your brain blocking out the image of blindness.

Basically, i am gonna make them a council of 4 'Boss' Monsters, i need..
I need one as a Psychologic-based monster
A monster that tears people apart
A monster that leads smaller Cannon Fodder (guy above gave me the cannon fodder part.)
A guy who is a mysterious badass, just that he is deceptive more or less.

Not a game, but i can factor it into the Plot though, fine, when i'm done i'll post it here somewhere.

Agreed, but i'll try to change the Dragon part though, it seems....unoriginal (of course). Anyway i would rather make the Griffin an untrustworthy lieutenant and the Griffin....a foot soldier?
...You want two griffins? Griffins embody honor and civalry, so they likely wouldnt be a untrustworthy lieutenant. Perhaps a foot soldier to whom the main character can talk his way out of it.

Maybe for your big baddie you could have a shapeshifter that was with your heroes for a while.

True, but it makes the monster difficult to fight. But i have to make sure he is not overly powered though....

do you know who Torquemada was? (The High Inquisitor in Spain), you could bring him back from hell (where he is due to his interpretation of god's desires), every time he walks, he leaves blood footsprints from the people he killed... oh well I'll stop now, I think I am a bit off topic

quote]

I wasn't really thinking deception, more like "ok, this guy is a total monster in every sense of the word, but when you think about it he isn't acutally that much different from us." Try to scare them by questioning their morality or showing them what consequences some choices in their past have had, by having the monster repeat them before their eyes.
Or to put it in internet meme speak: No John, you ARE the demons!!1
