I doubt anyone can get this.

There is a man. He is in a room where there is concrete meters thick on ether side. On all sides, this includes the roof and the ground. There is a table in the middle of the room. How does the man escape?

Answer: He rubs his hands until there saw. He uses the Saw to chop the table in half. Two halfs make a hole. He leaves through the hole.

They don't. Cuba is an island.

Before the days of motor cars, a man rode into town on his horse. He arrived on Friday, spent three days in town and left on Friday. How is that possible?

Here's one I know, though you may have already heard it.

Four smart gnomes are standing in line with all faces pointed in the same direction. They all carry a hat, but they do not know their color. They only know that there are two red and two green hats. The first gnome stands behind a wall and does not see the others. The second gnome is able to see the hats of the third and the fourth. The third only sees the hat of the fourth, and the fourth gnome does not see any hat at all.

The gnomes would like to know which hat they wear without checking their own. When a gnome has figured out which hat he carries, he will immediately tell the others. Suppose that the first gnome wears a red hat, the second a green one, the third a red one and the fourth a green one. Which gnome will be the first to figure out?

A man drove all the way from New York to San Francisco only to discover at the end of the trip that he had a flat tire from the very start. Yet his car was completely unaffected by it. How is this possible?

the riddles

1. four men are standing in a straight line, all are facing the same direction parallel to the line they stand in, they can only look straight ahead, they cannot talk to each other, two men have black top hats and the other two have white top hats, the fourth and last person in the line is separated by a massive concrete wall so no one can see him, they are being held captive until one of them can determine the colour of his hat. how do they escape.

2. youre in a COMPLETELY SEALED room, there are no openings or flaws in the wall (think 'metre thick walls of gold'. not literal). you have a table and a mirror, how do you escape? (by the way there is light)

3. there is a bridge, in front of the bridge there is a massive sign that says "DO NOT CROSS" in big bold letters, there are several sharp eyed, intelligent, skilled gaurds in front of said bridge. this is true for both sides. you (a perfectly normal human citizen) simply cross the bridge(without doing anything else) and no one tries to stop you even though you are noticed. why?

4. what starts with an "e", ends with an "e" and has one letter in it?

they get progressively easier
1 is easy, one of the guys takes off his hat, looks at it then says the colour....
and I have already read the answers for the other two...

he's a midget, he can reach the button for the bottom floor but not the button for the top floor
