Why the hell don't we have mounting dew in England? It's great!
We do, don't we? I saw some cans on a shelf in a shop just the other day...
Not where I'm from. I've only been able to get them because I have connections with a guy who works in America.

You sure your not thinking of 7up?
Yeah, pretty sure. For one thing, you never see 7up anymore ;-)

Whereabouts do you live? The last time I saw Mountain Dew was in Southampton, a few crates of it stacked on the shelf of an offie.

I wish we had a Walmart.

And American style prices. When something is $40 (dollars), I do not want to be paying £40 (pounds) for it!
That's very interesting, since it's the same with euros too. I wonder who has been doing the math here.

Also, keeping up with release dates would be nice. I know things are kinda good here in Europe, but for instance Rock Band was delayed over half a year, Mass Effect 2 was a couple of days late and every movie that isn't ridiculously high budget comes a month late.

Well I live on Earth..and I really wish we had a planetary ring like Saturn.
YES!! YEESS!! That's the best idea ever! :D
We might have to blowup the moon though. *sad face*

Oh well....
How about a planetary ring made up of moons?
Ye gads, that will ruin our tidal system and ruin just about everything gravitationally on earth. Won't anyone think of the children?

Cheshire. And I've been around the country and never once seen mountain dew... could it... could it be moving over here? If so that just made my day.

WARNING: Gay response incoming!

An Abercrombie and Fitch store would be excellent. The models...

Yum.

I'm very disappointed there isn't a store in Australia that's as deliciously homoerotic as the Abercrombie stores.

I live in Central Illinois, and go to college around central Iowa. Funny thing is: Both of them are completely outside of reasonable driving distance to White Castle. If anyone has seen "Zombieland," one could compare my love for White Castle to Woody Harrelson's character's love of Twinkies.

It's probably for the best though. I would probably have my own TLC special about my weight if White Castle did move into town.
wouldn't the better example be Harold and Kummar got to white castle?

OT:Australia just needs a new Mel Gibson.

Perhaps you are looking in the wrong places? I can get Mountain Dew from quite a few shops in Glasgow, and that's without going to the Gaming Cafe which also sells lots of energy drinks and stuff like Reese's products.

EDIT: Forgot to add my own want! I'd quite like Grape or Melon Fanta from Japan. Man that stuff was awesome.

Well, I'd like to try The World Ends With You, but it mysteriously disappeared and last time I asked someone to mention to a video game store clerk, they apparently were met with a look that meant "Should I call the Asylum?"

I wish we could get Cherry & Vanilla coke here, also Jolt cola. Also, fucking Burger King (there isn't one in the town where I live, although 3 McDonalds and one other swedish chain). Never tried KFC, but could be nice (As far as I know there isn't one in the entire country).

Also, I live in Sweden.

Lucky Charms cereal. They used to sell it in the UK years ago, but stopped. For ages I went without the sweet marshmallowy taste in the morning, but I found a shop that sells them along with other american stuff like Hershey's chocolate (which tastes awful). The trouble is they're £7 a box. No way I can afford that.

I have just eaten a Twinkie. I live in central England.

Ooohhh I wish they sold Twinkies for cheap in England..! I found some but they were being sold for £2.50 each (that translates to about $3.80 in America). Per Twinkie!? How ridiculous.
What I have to do is when I find out someone is going to America, plead with them to bring some back with them. Is that too much to ask?? They're so tasty and I enjoy them so much, it's frustrating that once I eat them all I have to wait ages for some more.

Anyway, before I get into a massive sulk (I only have one left), is there something you can't get or do where you live?
I live in England too and i'm jealous of their peanut filled M&Ms, but I wouldn't swap all our proper coco chocolate for them
I agree, that's one thing I'm glad we have over here - sweet chocolate. Cadburys tastes sooo good after you come back from a country where there isn't any.
I have to agree with this, except if I ever went to Belgium or Switzerland (haven't yet though). Apparently chocolate there is much better than anything over here. Anyhow, I don't live too far from the Cadbury's HQ in Birmingham anyway, so that's a bonus straight off the mark :D.

As far as the thread goes, I really wish Mountain Dew was available here. I drank it in Florida about a year and a half back, and it was great, and now I'm back in Blighty I can't find it anywhere :(

the Netherlands has skittles.

I wish we had... euh... I don't know. Drugs that are legal in other places, but not here. Or something.
