I see somebody else beat me to Azure Dreams, so I'll go with something else:

Digimon World


This was a game that honestly didn't play like it was out of an episode of the show. Exlporing an island, training your familiar, different digimon between night and day, these little things help make the game shine. This is still one of those games I go back to on a semi regular basis for their gameplay value, if not nostalgia.

Oh god I had forgotten all about this. This game was awesome, to bad the other game that came wasn't like this. Yes,a remake of this would be awesome.

But this is the latest news, and its from 2009. I have not heard anything about Mechwarrior 2 since then. I would look forward to it, or wish they would start making it again, but I just don't know if it is actually being released or not...

I know, we're getting a prequel - a prequel published by Square Enix without the work or input of a single member of the original creative team (and designed by French-Canadians of all people).

Wow. Just wow. I'd call you out on stupid rascism but I don't have that much time on my hands.

I would like to point out however that Between EA, Ubisoft, Bioware, Eidos, A2M, Gameloft and about 20 smaller companies the French Canadians amde some of the best games this past decade. Splinter Cell series, Assassin's Creed series, Rainbow 6 series, couple of SSX games, Prince of Persia, some NHL games, Mass Effect (although done mainly by Bioware Edmonton) to name but a few.

For everyone out there, I'd like to clarify that my statement was humorous in intent. It was supposed to be an out-of-place non sequitur, meant to be slightly amusing for its random, incoherent nature. I, in no way, have anything against French-Canadians. I actually think they're a very awesome people. I hold no ill will towards them nor do I wish to diminish their success in the game industry. I realize now that perhaps I should have made this clear originally or perhaps, have not mentioned it at all. But it was more or less an offhand joke, made without much thought. Baulders Gate 2 would be fantastic. GTA SA was a fantastic game and the best in the GTA storyline... It went downhill from there.

The first two Fallouts remade like 3. I know they have alot of fans who think they're better than 3, but gameplay-wise they really don't hold up very well.

That is a matter of opinion. I would like to see Fallout 3 fully redone as a isometric turn based RPG with improved speech trees like the old ones.
