Valve. They seem like fun guys. They also don't have a rigid staff structure so It'd probably be easier to do what you like rather then what your job is.
This is gonna turn into a huge fanboy thread of typical stature I bet.
But Bioware as a writer of course. Nothing would be greater for me than to learn not how to write stuff solo (which I'm fairly apt at already I think), but how to write stuff as part of a team, work with other people, influence them with your work and be influenced by them in turn in what you do. Bliss, no doubt about it.
Atlus, So I can word slap them till the make P4P or help with translating P5 or help translations in general, I can't speak/read Japanese worth shit but I'd learn for them.
best ones . 1.valve 2.double fine(judging only from theyre one game psychonauts best game ever created) 3. rare(theyre brilliant) and 4.bioware because of theyre masterpiece mass effect.
and worst companies ever imagined( if i worked in them i would kill myself) bungie, electronic arts and activision
Volition. Come on, if you are working at Bioware you are just gonna pushed like hell to create the best games possible, and in Valve you will be working on the same stuff over and over and over again to make sure its perfect to meet there standards.
You want a company that makes fun games. Fun games have got to have fun development right? Volition all the way.
Bioware.... based in Edmonton means I don't have to even leave Canada.... my other options being Ubisoft, Silicon Knights and EA.... but I'd prefer Bioware. I could totally do programming but I wouldn't mind getting in on the story, character or weapon build departments
I'd like to do either audio production or VO work. Since I do both of those already (More production then VO work, though), it'd be more doing what I love, but for the developer I love the most!
Yeah, that'd be freaking awesome.
