I'd probably die of fangirl overload if I ever got a job with Blizzard. Sudden, total, orgasmic death. Preceding it would be my version of the wayne's world 'WE'RE NOT WORTHY' sequence.

/sigh!

I'd love to work for either Blizzard or Valve. Blizzard makes the games I really, really love, something about the feel and the lore behind their games is just great. It's fantastical but still very sober and realistic. Valve is pretty much like Jesus to PC gamers because of all the Steam sales, the free DLC, and the continuing support for community-made maps, mods, etc. Both companies make outstanding games and it'd be an honour to work for either of them.

Frictional Games.

There work on the Penumbra games blew me away, esp with the mouse interaction.

Paragon Studios who maintain the City of Heroes MMO as they interact with their fanbase regularly and I assume nurturing a game for six plus years would be quite rewarding.

I really like the way that APB is going, and think that the company will expand into new IPs in the future.
This is actually my aim in the future, after university.

I would definitely work for Bioware, as either a conceptual artist or maybe a writer in some capacity. If I couldn't work at Bioware, then I would probably say Double Fine. Being an artist for them would be amazing - you could make some cra-azy stuff, man...

I think I'd like being the director of Infinity Ward; that would afford me a clear shot at Kotick at least once.

I'd love to work for Doublefine! Wacky ideas, inventive games, and (I assume) fun and crazy people to work with. It would be a dream come true...

I'd work for Insomniac, cause the Ratchet and Clank and Resistance games are amazing.

Based on integrity, it's Valve. Based on atmosphere, probably Epic.

As a writer, I'd tend towards Bioware, but I'd be extremely wary of EA's involvement.

Blizzard would have been a good choice about five years ago. Now they're under the Activision umbrella, and it's beginning to show in all of the gimmicky WoW pay services. Plus they never create anything new anymore; they've been milking the same three franchises for how long now?

Square Enix. Can we just assume that I'll magically learn Japanese for this thought experiment?
Anyway, it'd be nice to know the status on my favorite games. Like, when the hell are you going to start working on Kingdom Hearts 3?!?!?!

This is exactly what I was going to say. Ninja!

OT: The reason is that both of these companies not only make great games, they keep the games up to date and have a sense of humor about themselves which is refreshing.

But I guess I'd say Rockstar or Doublefine would be cool too.
