"Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested"

Which book would you choose?

I wouldn't mind eating Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.

Oh yeah, and you can eat as many books as you like.

Question: Do we have to own said book?
Nope. It probably helps, though.

That seems pretty bland and unfilling.

Hop on pop.

It would take like a second and whoever's making me eat the book would have to fulfill their part of the deal and leave me alone.

Probably anything Warhammer 40k related that has space marines in it.
I plan to absorb it's power and kill my enemies using a chainsword.

I'm deadly serious.

Have any of you ever deep fried a phone book?

Tastes sort of like a baked potato.

I would expect it to taste somewhat earthy...
More like one of the microwaveable ones you would get served on an airplane. Must be something in the paper they use.

ehm.... I'm a bit confused. If I had to eat a book I would probably choose one I really hated so at least something good came out of such a horrible experience...
I take it that wasn't the idea of this thread??

That was what I thought it meant. When I read it, I thought back to some of the more awful books I had to read in high school. Madame Bovary earns my hatred as my least favorite book of all time, but it's kind of big. I'd probably go with The Crucible because not only did I hate that book, but it's also tiny.

I would eat Lord of the Flies, think of it as revenge for having to read it three times in high school. WHO HAS THE CONCH NOW *****!

Really? I liked the crucible...

I would probably say Crime and Punishment by Dostoevski... but then again it is pretty big q-:

Hmmm.... Can't think of anything as terrible but small though XD

Only now did I get the pun in the title...

I guess I'd eat a visual novel. Particularly one of the more racy ones.

I think there is some confusion as to the spirit or meaning of this thread. OP may want to clarify a bit, unless of course the seaming randomness between how people are interpreting the question is intended.
