Hmmm, how about Fortnightly? Whatever the heck that means.
Fortnight is roughly two weeks, and yea, its still used somewhat today, as in "god, I havent logged onto XBL in a fortnight" [which I havent], but "Fortnightly"?
I use it because some magazines are still fortnightly publications.

Nonsense, like Balderdash or Piffle.

It means every fortnight. A fortnight is a 2 week period, I say it all the time.
Meh, I guess I just didn't know what a fortnight was, and this was just a clever ruse to get learned without asking directly.
It comes from it being fourteen nights, shortened to fortnight.

I wanna start using 'Berk' more often, as in "you're a berk" (as in idiot). But, it comes from a much more offensive word. I'll give you a clue... Rhyming slang... Berkeley Hunt...

Use it then. "Berk" got thrown around my Physics class more often than "Momentum".

Yeah, I'm afraid to Google it. For obvious reasons.
Literally, soft diarrhea. However, it was used as "nonsense" or "balderdash".

Thank God Google isn't stupid... ;d

Well after my success at bringing sexy back I'll be glad to help with spiffy, personally I want the phrase "this fair morn" in regular circulation again; makes the morning seem just that little bit more epic

Yeah, it does. I mean, if someone were to say "this fair morn" to me during a conversation, I'd expect a dragon to pop-up out of a bush or something.

I was thinking the same thing! But then again I'm too much into the Planescape cant [http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/cold-blood/wikis/guide-to-planescape-cant]. I'm such a sod.

gay, i love the word gay and i use it all the time, its classy and bring back memories of a better time.

let me say i have absolutely nothing against homosexuals and im actually a volunteer at this years outgames (http://www.copenhagen2009.org/) but i think its time we took the word back, when i say im gay it means im happy and not homosexual.

But do we want to? (Dramatic overtones here.)

I want more people to say "Indubitably".
You didn't answer me... -5 to happiness

Indubitably. Happy now? :p

And let's face it you'd rather that then a normal morning routine, so the only logical way to get some dragons appearing is to use this fair morn

Berk (out of all the words mentioned on this thread) is the most used one where I live already

What a great idea!
I'll sign up to bring back Pish-posh, Spiffy and Poppycock.

My request for aid is the word Forsooth.
No that's not quite camp enough.
My votes going with the Phrase, 'Fair Morn.'

"I abruptly awoke upon this fair morn!"
Brilliant.

Porch monkey.
[small]Don't beat me for referancation[/small]

Cat.
As in "This cats groovy, he can roll with us"

If were sticking with the British ruckus, "codswallop".
Which also means nonsense, alot of old words mean nonsense.

It's not originally from there, but Catherine Tate used it all the time in Dr.Who.

Qwibble should be brought back, as should ergo.
