I find all these returning old expressions just a right bunch of balderdash. Balderdash, I say!

Bring these words back is spiffy. The idea of not doing so is pish posh. Absolute poppycock

It makes me sad that spiffy needs to be brought back. I wasn't aware it was gone. D: Dude, I use it all the time, and variations thereof...spiffy, spiff, spifftastic...

"Cool beans", however, seriously needs to make a dramatic comeback. Srsly.

But do we want to? (Dramatic overtones here.)

I want more people to say "Indubitably".
I say that word all the time anyway. I want the word Shabby to be used more. I use it all the time to describe bad. Sounds much more describing than Bad.

I will support your cause of bringing back spiffy if you help me spread the word fantabulous.

My physics teacher uses that word a lot, as well as variants.

In the time I've spent in that class, I've heard:
-Spiff
-Spiffy
-Spiffola
-Spifftacular
-Spiffs
-Spiffer
-Spiffing
-Sporff(?)

Needless to say, I now hate the word in all its forms.

We need to bring back "Fisticuffs"!

"Sir, you have dishonored me *slap with glove* I challenge you to fisticuffs!"

Kerfuffle. :] Use it. Better than clusterfuck, methinks.
No, no...because kerfluffle is cutesy and girly and reminds me of something akin to a Tribble falling off a shelf onto the ground or something.

"Clusterfuck", on the other hand, is a great fricative that you can spit out when things have all gone horribly, horribly wrong.

My middle name is Spiffterson and I approve this cause.
Other dying words I'd like to see brought back:
Catsenjammer (think that's the proper spelling): (1) The sound of multiple feral cats mewing; (2) A hangover.
Skirr: An onomatopoeia that is the sound of aerial creatures flapping their wings.
Fubsy: Short and stout.

Upon revisiting this thread I noticed that people seemed to think I was just referring to old-timey british words. I am referring to any fun word people don't use enough anymore.
