As for your woe, what you do is become really good friends with her and spend time with her without your best friend. Eventually he'll start to get insecure, and he'll attack her (not physically, although if he does you're in, unless she likes it) over it. She'll get annoyed that he doesn't trust her. They break up. Over you. You console her. Get some on-the-rebound lovin' before you find out she really thinks you're Just A Friend.

The above only works if you're a complete dick.
