Bought Icewind Dale a couple o' years back.

Played it once. waded my way though the lake of shit that was the game (IMO). Almost finished it theeeen I accidentally killed a main quest giver (Damn area of effect Spells!). Rather than play through the whole shitty game AGAIN. I uninstalled and never touched it again.

It made a nice paperweight for a while. Until I bought my PSP. Now it is just a Decoration.

I just thought of something. Why the fuck haven't I sold it yet?

How do you do that? I'm curious. Did two break or do you have really bad memory?

I bought a few games I've only played once or twice. My favorite is playing a new game but being still in the state of mind of playing the previous game and getting myself killed because of it.

I went to play a .. fps game i forget which but i remember there was ledge i could not reach, just played TF2 Recently i thought huh... i have a rocket launcher i'll just Rocket Jump! BOOM i died.

I went to the store, bought it, went again, saw it on sale, thought I didn't have it, bought it again, went back later, saw it in a bargain bin, again thought I didn't have it, and bought it a third time.

Just out of curiosity, what was the game?

Anyway, another one I did was let a friend borrow my mint PC copy of Final Fantasy VIII. Not only is it usually $50-$80, but it was a very sentimental gift to me. Haven't seen the bastard, or my game, since. >_>;;

Well, here at least I can sympathize. The same thing happened to my copy of Enter The Matrix [http://www.gamerankings.com/itemrankings/searchresult.asp?term=matrix&itemid=479805].
(Granted, it was Enter The Matrix, so no big loss. )

(Hmm, FF8 PC is worth $50-$80 now? Doing a little search on Amazon it looks like the smart people are just buying the PS "greatest hits" version which is only $20 and should be playable on any version of the Playstation.)

Funny thing that got the "I'm so stupid" reaction out of myself, was playing Left4Dead, finali of no mercy, we were almost to the roof when a tank attacked... and threw himself down the bottomless pit. We had a nice long moment of "did the fall kill him? I still hear the music... somebody throw a molatov" and as luck would have it, I had a molatov!

So I got up next to the railing at the side of the pit, yelled "fire in the hole!" and broke the bottle ON the railing. I saw fire, screamed in surprise and jumped back. The railing was only on fire enough for me to have burned myself, and my whole team just laughed and laughed. Ha ha, ouch my pride. ^.^;

Once I actually spawned as the Tank on the roof (Versus mode) and the first thing I see is a wall.

So what do I do? I back up to get my bearings.

Fell right off the building.

Dead 5 seconds after spawn. Worst use of Tank on the versus team ever.

I purchased Shadow Madness at the local game store for relatively nothing thinking it looked like a 'cool rpg worth my investment'. Not only Shadow Madness, but a buggy, impossible to play copy of Shadow Madness.

If there's one thing you can't do in life, it's returning a copy of one of the worst rpgs that you paid the price of a coffee for and saying, "It glitches to death, can I have another copy?"



I have four Atari's, all of the same model. I don't remember when in history I acquired all of those Atari's, but I sure enough have them. I wonder if they work.

Destroy All Humans POTF wasn't that bad, it just wasn't really a new game, it was more like an expansion pack to Destroy All Humans 2, more levels a few new weapons and one new psychic power. On the other hand this is what rental places are for, and while some rental places are mind-bogglingly stupid about their stocking choices (my local Blockbuster bought enough copies of GTA IV to fill an entire row of the rack with 4 or five copies of the game behind each case, I think the most I ever saw gone was 6 or 7 out of the maybe 28 copies there. Meanwhile they had bought only three copies of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, which I had to wait almost a month to play be cause it was always checked out, they did it again recently, only two copies of Left 4 Dead. I finally got one that had just been returned a few days ago. Anyway where was I? Oh yeah) it's still a nice alternative to making a purchase you'll regret. I've played all you mentioned except Beast Rider, and the only ones I enjoyed were Destroy All Humans, which I finished before I had to return it, and the Incredible Hulk, which I enjoyed for about 2 hours, and only that long because I liked to smash stuff more than do missions.

My I'm so Stupid moments are usually forgotten unless I do it multiple times, for example, when I get angry at dying 10 times in less than 3 minutes playing Halo 3, and decide to charge the next guy I get within 10 feet of and melee instead of shooting. This mostly happens on that snow map on Free for All, because I usually spawn within 10 feet of someone.
