Industry Elites Added As Judges for Webcomic Contest

Hey, hey, HEY! Did no one read? The rules say "1 GRAND Prize Winner gets a paid contract" and that "Other prizes will be delivered"

So it's looking like 1 of us gets to be the big winner, and a few others get other prizes!

The 'other prizes' are probably four pristine condition comic strips and a logo. Yours to do with as you will!

I'd take second/third/fourth place if they posted my comics and said, "Hey, this guy didn't win but he's comic is pretty funny, funny enough for second/third/fourth place, go check him out!" That could be worth it by itself!

Knowing about contests,they usually inform the winner days before the announcement...or am I just screwing around with people's minds?

I think at this point, we're all just screwing with our own minds. We won't know what they're looking for or how well our entries did until they announce who wins. All this is just us playing hopscotch with self doubt/confidence.

They Said they would pick a winner in the week of March 8th so they probably will tell the winner "me" a few days in advance and not tell everyone else until sat or sunday.

Did I mention I'm feeling confident?

I can't avoid the oscars comparison: Imagine if the academy gave the winner a heads up before the ceremony?

Ive been hearing about someone that's gone to a lot of the websites that we submit our art to adding this comment to their work. I know it had to be someone from this contest because all of my pics on newgrounds are just illustrations not comics. Whoever it is started their newgrounds account yesterday and has only commented on my work.
