The anticipation to find out the winner(s) is exciting. Even though I regularly visit The Escapist I didn't read about the contest til a few days before it was over.

For the most part, it would be great to see at least the top 5 or 10. Maybe in a countdown feature like two a day until the #1 is revealed.

I respect your opinion, though I personally find appreciation for Ingmar Bergman very bourgeois. Lars von Trier is a freakin' lunatic and thus the byproduct is richly orgasmic movies.

Check out his surreal meta-film Persona from 1966 if you get the chance.

How many times do people have to say it? The Week of March 8th does not automatically mean the results will be up on March 8th - It means any time between March 8th and March 14th/15th. There's still over 4 days within which they could announce the winner.

Yeesh, I tell ya, the internet and it's instant results and instant communications is spoiling us all. It's only a matter of time before patience joins common sense on the endangered species list.
