I don't know your name, that's why i'm guessing "hot shot" and "king of the hill"
My comic entry is four pages of LOLCATS, with a LOLCAT logo. I wanted to go with something current, and decided to ride the wave of this new LOLCAT meme... I also signed each comic page with a link to some Rick Astley video. "Never going to give you flowers" or something. I hope it catches on...titankore said:Please no more LOLCATS!!! they stopped being funny about 30 minutes after the first one came out.
Once I let my little brother play on my 360... ... I haven't seen it since... Its not even at my place anymore. Sonovabitch.titankore said:Please no more LOLCATS!!! they stopped being funny about 30 minutes after the first one came out.
edit: Does anyone here share their online accounts/xboxlive account with their friends or significant others?
I think Marlon became such a huge fat ass later in his life because he had already scored all the chicks he could want in the forties.Coelasquid said:I already brought you Dolph Lundgren, I'm not sure what more you could want after that hulking beacon of golden Swedish perfection.danieltanure said:Oh! I guess we could talk about Marlon Brando instead.
He was a pretty rad guy, lot of wisdom to him. I find his observations on being quoted in newspapers and the like especially applicable to internet culture. "You can say something in a certain spirit, with a smile, but when it appears in print, there's no smile."
that is such a blatent steriotype! im reading a manga series now and theres no.. well actually i suppose there is the occasional demon reference but theres... oh and yes, most of the characters are teenage girls but... oh fine you preety much summed up all mangas there (except the pokemon mangas and its rip-offs)DomesticParasite said:Noo... if you want to look at cliche demon looking things raping teen girls you read a manga.interspark said:to be honest, im not worried about all the fantastic artists there are who have ebtered this, even though my characters are made of circles drawn on paint, because if you want beautiful artwork you read manga, web comics are supposed to be simple and funny

Do you mean to tell me that if you make a statement that appears to be a simple misunderstanding of scale, and then attempt to support said statement over multiple [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.171632-Industry-Elites-Added-As-Judges-for-Webcomic-Contest?page=35#5270110] posts [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.171632-Industry-Elites-Added-As-Judges-for-Webcomic-Contest?page=35#5270372], people who are unable to read your mind through the Internet may believe you to be serious and, furthermore, make comments to that effect? They'd get a few pennies more from their advertisements. Nothing to write home about.

So allow me to rectify that, then...

Oh I didn't say it bothered them. Its just a minor peeve of mine. I like being accurate when I speak and like knowing how to best address someone.Coelasquid said:It obviously doesn't matter if someone accidentally gets a mistaken "he" or "she" thrown their way every now and then if "72% of girls on websites like this pick male as their gender", allegedly.aeroz said:but it does matter with english. Maybe I'm odd but I like knowing what gender pronoun I should be using with someone
I don't see why people should be getting their piss all steamed over something that insignificant, anyway.
I keep telling you, its a conspiracy man, there is no winner, its all a ploy to thin out the number of online artists.LACKT said:Man,where is the gallery?
Its Hentai, mynameissqrat said:Okay, so I'm just going to point out that Manga it's self is A type of art. And even though I'm not a fan of the huge eyes that bare into my soul, I'm pretty sure most of it isn't about tinticle things raping teens. I think if your gonna attack a ganra you should make sure you isolate it more... Like Henti (I think thats how it's spelled). If you said Henti that'd be correct.DomesticParasite said:Noo... if you want to look at cliche demon looking things raping teen girls you read a manga.interspark said:to be honest, im not worried about all the fantastic artists there are who have ebtered this, even though my characters are made of circles drawn on paint, because if you want beautiful artwork you read manga, web comics are supposed to be simple and funny

Phase 1: They let webartists go insane and off themselves till there is only a few of us left.
Phase 2: Then they will put is in a cage and make us breed for years on end, making the purest of evil webcomic artists ever.
Phase 3: ????
Phase 4: PROFIT!
I figured stressing the fact that the traffic was pageviews and not unique hits would further bring out the fact that any amount of increased traffic from this is essentially meaningless, regardless of the size -- I wasn't trying to help my case, but further point out its absurdity.Zemalac said:Do you mean to tell me that if you make a statement that appears to be a simple misunderstanding of scale, and then attempt to support said statement over multiple [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.171632-Industry-Elites-Added-As-Judges-for-Webcomic-Contest?page=35#5270110] posts [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.171632-Industry-Elites-Added-As-Judges-for-Webcomic-Contest?page=35#5270372], people who are unable to read your mind through the Internet may believe you to be serious and, furthermore, make comments to that effect? Welcome to real life, son. Everything is serious business unless noted otherwise.
Right-o. Sorry about getting on your case about it--I assumed you were pulling the old "I'm-losing-the-argument-so-now-I'll-claim-I-was-joking" trick, a maneuver which tends to fill me with rage. Seems I was wrong.Rhykker said:I figured stressing the fact that the traffic was pageviews and not unique hits would further bring out the fact that any amount of increased traffic from this is essentially meaningless, regardless of the size -- I wasn't trying to help my case, but further point out its absurdity.Zemalac said:Do you mean to tell me that if you make a statement that appears to be a simple misunderstanding of scale, and then attempt to support said statement over multiple [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.171632-Industry-Elites-Added-As-Judges-for-Webcomic-Contest?page=35#5270110] posts [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.171632-Industry-Elites-Added-As-Judges-for-Webcomic-Contest?page=35#5270372], people who are unable to read your mind through the Internet may believe you to be serious and, furthermore, make comments to that effect? I'm a deadpan. It's hit or miss.
Apologies that this was a miss. Let's sign off on the matter.

It's worse than that. We're in one of those Twilight Zone episodes, where time has stopped everywhere except for this forum, and we only think time is flowing for us. Weeks, years may pass in subjective time before we'll ever know.mynameissqrat said:Wouldn't it be just our luck if they already picked the winner, let him know he won, had him already start working, and forgot to tell all of us were a bunch of drooling numb skulls lol.
