I don't see what you are on about. The girl was bullied because she behaved different to other girls her age. It wasn't her to tell everyone about her problem to "get what she wanted", she was going to cave in under the social pressure. But then some people told her that it is perfectly normal for girls to like Star Wars and that she doesn't have to be ashamed of it.s0m3th1ng said:Now this girl has learned that to get what she wants she must tell everyone every problem she has instead of dealing with it HERSELF. GOGO ME GENERATION.
It's the thought that counts right?Cousin_IT said:Something tells me this saga will end with her not wanting to take Star Wars merch to school anyway.Elizabeth Grunewald said:Ultimately, Katie has been invited to the Chicago premiere of a Clone Wars film by its Yoda, Tom Kane.

I'm curious of this as well. It's a slight heartwarming, most certainly, but it's not like we're talking about 4chan-hunting-down-the-puppy-chucker levels of justice here.Summerstorm said:Hm... i don't understand...
What did the internet do... other than justhaving lots of people saying: Meh... do what you want to do?
I mean, yeah reinforcing someone who did nothing from, and helping him feeling better is nice and all, but how exactly did the 'net save her?
I was expecting something different. This doesn't really seem that "strong" to me.
The people who responded were telling the girl not to judge all Star Wars fans by the actions of a small group of boys, and to stand firm in what she wants to do versus what they do in their small-mindedness.-Zen- said:I'm curious of this as well.
