Alright so in Britan the normal price for a game like this is about £40.
To those who have played it, is it worth that money?
I earn £30 a week from my part time job.

I haven't got this game, but my favorite gaming magazine included a full review three page review of it this month.

Here's the short of it: score of 89/100, and a special recommendation stamp on top (not even all 90+ games get this stamp)

Pros:
- Slick and fast flowing action, which doesn't stall during any part of the campaign
- Good plot, which is exceptionally attention grabbing
- Multiplayer is like a drug

Cons:
- The levels look good, but you don't have a lot room to move around
- The single player experience isn't very long
- Too few zombie levels

Personally, I'm tired of these FPS games that all look and feel the same. Still, the review itself made me consider buying the game. It's just such a bloody shame that the single player experience is so short, because otherwise I would.

If you liked MW2 and are still playing it.

Sure.

If you're expecting something other than a run of the mill shooter, give it a bit.

Maybe he's asking what platform are you getting it for? TBH, that's a lot of money for ANY game, especially for the PC. If you generally enjoyed MW2 except for some really OP weapons and killstreaks, then you should get it. All of the perks and killstreaks are toned down.

I think he meant what system you're getting it for.

And I say no because I'm not paying full price for pretty much the same game as one I already have (Modern Warfare 2) I'll save my money for something that isn't a game 90% similar to another game in my library

Oh, well in that case. Xbox 360.
I liked the campagne in MW2 and the multiplayer was alright (for a while, untill everybody started noobtubing and the like.

Hell no. Apparently, it's even more broken than Modern Warfare 2 (especially the PC version, which is genuinely buggy). Don't touch it with a bargepole.

Go for it. From what I was able to play in the single and multi, I was having a blast.

The single player leaves something to be desired. If MW2 was an A, I'd give this one a B-. The hit detection is questionable, everything is a little less polished technically (I miss shots that I shouldn't miss and make shots that are obvious misses) and everything that made MW2 great is just alright here. Just my opinion though.

Just my thoughts.

It's nothing like MW2, it's not as fast paced as MW2. There is no quick scoping and I have only been noob tubed twice.

The kill streaks suck, UAV is the same as always, the little car is a ***** to drive, the rocket launchers are crap, the napalm has a very short range and very thing line of fire. I haven't used the higher up kill streaks yet, I'm not that good.

The costomising is okay, the equipment and nades are great, perks are a little lack luster and quite a pain to get "pro".

I love the MP.

Honestly, I am getting sick of ppl who haven't played the game, saying this stuff.

No it is more balanced them MW2 ever was, take this from a person who has Actually played the game.

I disagree in that MW2 was over-the-top, and BO is right on top. I would rather the game have less insane features as long as there was balance.

Well, for me it was definatly worth it.
The new multiplayer, guarenteed to occupy me for quite a while.
Unlocking weapons, earning currency, prestiging, etc...
Co-op for when I have people over, that's extremely useful.
Zombie mode jam packed with liquid kickass...
The fact that all of my friends have it and we've been discussing it for awhile...
I mean, worth doesn't just come down to money and whether or not the game is good...
So yes. In my opinion it is worth it, since I know for sure if they doubled the price people would still comfortably buy it.

He is right though. The PC version is shot to shit. Its nearly impossible to play it without insane drops in frame rate.
