He is right though. The PC version is shot to shit. Its nearly impossible to play it without insane drops in frame rate.

In all srsness, I think I will end up getting BO at some point, its just gonna be one of those things. I love each single player (I didnt have cod 2 or 5) The zombies are always fun and the multiplayer has been at least slightly sorted out. Also, bots and theater mode should I get annoyed.

But I might get it earlier, so I can enjoy the multiplayer a bit, before it goes to glitches and cheap tactics etc etc

Hahah sorry man, but unless you want to be stuck waiting for a patch, its better to go console.

Did they say how long? Cause from other reviewers I heard its long like 7 to 10 hours.
They said the same, but honestly I think that's too short. If you can blow through the single player experience in 7 hours, then it's not worth my money. I realize that many people treat single player as the place where you get to try out all the guns, and multi player is where the action is really at. My opinion is the single player experience has to last at least ten hours, without me having to drag my feet on my way to the end credits at every possible corner. I'll probably end up getting this game from a bargain bin, because it has a great plot, but I'm not paying full price for it.

Singelplayer is better and longer than mw2.

multiplayer is more fun and fair than mw2

zombies is not even included in mw2.

Ok fanboys?

with that out of the way.

On topic, yes, it is very much worth th money.

Probably worth waiting for a pre-owned copy. Even wait six months, see how good the online gets. It's a little tenuous at the moment.

Alright so in Britan the normal price for a game like this is about £40.
To those who have played it, is it worth that money?
I earn £30 a week from my part time job.
I bought myne for £49.99.

Yeah, well worth it. Well no not at all considering the usual £40 price, but im not too fussed, I know the game is gonna last me a long time.

i got it just because its COD and everyone and their mother has it, i still prefer MW2 because you can have fun on it whilst doing well, Black Ops is difficult, bullets dont do as much damage which i hate although some people love that aspect and to do good you have play like a try hard which i think takes some of the fun out of it, it is worth it, just i still prefer MW2 <- hate me all you want :)

I don't believe so. Call of Duty games just seem so farted out now. The developers and publisher knows that it'll make a mint so they put in enough effort to make it good enough. The result is a samey popcorn shooter with more explosions than good narrative decisions. While that's not necessarly a bad thing once you add a, (in my case, )$120 price tag and realise that you bought the same thing last year the whole thing gets a bit unappealing.

With the multiplayer mode they just seem to be experimenting. While the multiplayer modes may be tweaked and balanced over a few months in other games, in Call of Duty they just try all their ideas and then wait until next year's Call of Duty game to try and work out the kinks.
