Is "c***" just a replacement for "f*****?"

...Huh.

You guys ever think about how fucking weird the internet is, sometimes? And I don't mean in the 'lul internetz' kind of way. I mean just... can you imagine meeting someone in real life who thinks "cuck" is a good comeback against someone they disagree with?
I mean, I'm sure these people exist, but I can't really imagine interacting with them.
There is at least one person in my course who used the term once - going so far as to explain it to me while I simply stared - and talks about feminists like some of the people on this site do.

IIRC, they thought the largest problem facing Sweden today was its "cuck" problem.

So, basically, any dude who has ever watched straight porn..

It might sound like I'm kidding or being deliberately obtuse, but I'm deadly serious. If watching other people fuck is humiliating because you're not actually doing it yourself, why is it okay to squeeze one out watching impossibly gorgeous people in San Fernando simulate sex acts you'll probably never be able to do even if they were actually enjoyable in real life? Why is that less humiliating, perverse or pathetic?

Sex-negativity is a double edged sword..
Dudes who watch porn, which is all dudes
Implying Woman don't like porn aswell.

Its called fanfiction and its full of Gay Slash Fiction written and read mostly by Females.

Also My Immortal was a fanfic full of sex scenes and the filth of a fanfic was writter by a very emo girl.
More implying that any dude who says they don't watch porn is lying. I think it was Harvard that tried to do a porn vs no porn study of men, and couldn't find a single man who didn't watch porn.

No, that's what it would be if people actually used those terms in measured ways.
Well "people" do. Just like "people" don't. I think you'll find "people" do and don't do whatever you want them to as long as you're going to employ labels as diffuse as "people" when making your arguments. The fact is, there are measured/reasoned ways to employ terms like "racist" or "sexist". The same cannot be said of "cuck".

Fischgopf said:
I know what I think and feel, you do not. Since there seems to be no actual point to you adressing me, except to flame me, I'm just going to assume I must have touched a nerve of yours or something.
Well, again, you seem to be getting angry/aggravated. I have no idea why you think you've "touched a nerve", I *think* my communication comes off as calm. I'm not even using capital letters for word emphasis because I'm too lazy to bold tag, so that route for misapprehension is well and truly sealed. Can you point me to where you think I'm upset?

Fischgopf said:
Friendly reminder, even people you disagree with are capable of clicking the little flag on your posts or writing in the Mod Usergroup.
I'm not sure what this is. An invitation? A threat? Are you suggesting you're going to report me, or that I should report you? Why are people getting reported, exactly? What violated forum rules?

It's this kind of thing right here that makes you seem "aggravated". I'm not reading your mind, chap, I'm just describing behavior.

Yeah...there's a little more to words than "both people are misusing it, therefore they are equal in nature." For example, cuck seems to be the latest extension of people who emphasis masculinity over everything. The latest line of bullshit men like me, who don't freak out at the idea of displaying emotions other than rage, have to deal with. You can argue that they're subjective, but they're really not, as you can always tell where they're coming from. I mean really, a personal definition of homphobic? People may have different ideas of what qualifies as homophobic, but I think it's safe to say that there's a fairly common understanding of what it means to be homophobic. Insulting and belittling of homosexuals. Not exactly subjective.

I was under the impression that 'Cuck' referred to a man who found sexual appeal in watching another man sexually satisfy a female. Such as a man masturbate to watching another man with a larger dick fuck his wife and bring her more sexual pleasure than he ever did. Someone who finds sexual satisfaction in reveling in his own sexual dissatisfaction. Its a very unique subset of the Domination scene. Men who get off to the idea people don't want to have sex with them

****** just means gay. Dude who likes dick. Nuff said.
Yeah that's what I was gonna say. People are using cuck as an insult not to attack your masculinity per say but to point out how much of a beta you are and how you would roll over for anyone and anything. Even watching your significant other get fucked by another person because that's how much of a wimp you are.

And all this time, I'd thought they were just using it as a less explicit way to say "cock". Now I get why "guys who use the word 'cuck'" has joined "Neckbeard" and "Fedora wearer" as unusual derogatory slang.

People can, and do, used those in measured ways.

People cannot, and so do not, use "cuck" in that way, excepting perhaps in discussing the fetish.

The word "Nazi" is often misused, it doesn't make it meaningless.

Was (and to a lesser extent nowdays, is) the KKK objectively racist or not?

You'd probably see a few of them in the occasional middle school or perhaps elementary school. The fact that it's a bad word somehow makes it seem like the ultimate comeback to their immature minds, and at that age, arguments are more like card games where they just draw from whatever insults they're heard before rather than coming up with something based off context.

"Oh yeah? Well, I call you a cuck!"
"Well-played sir, well-played."

Well there's a little bit of a divide in there. Dudes who watch porn, which is all dudes, are usually fantasizing about being the dude in the porno fucking the babe, or whoever is getting fucked. Its different because they're getting off to the idea a person who meets whatever fetish they have wants to have sex with them.
But it's still using voyeuristic means to derive enjoyment from watching someone else fulfil your fetish.

People have written very sophisticated and complex psychology pieces on what the mental process behind porn enjoyment actually is. Suffice to say, it's a very complex thing which varies hugely by genre, tone and individual preference. In pornographic movies actors are often playing characters who may have quite different qualities to the audience. Interacial porn is overwhelmingly written to be consumed by a white audience, and yet those white men probably don't consciously want to be black. So-called lesbian porn designed for straight men is entirely predicated on acts and experiences which a male bodied viewer cannot participate in.

One thing you could say is that the basic subject/object dynamics means that the viewer of porn is always normatively placed in a dominant position. Even in femdom or cuckold porn, the viewer is not the person being humiliated, they're watching the person being humiliated safely from a position of power. They get to see everything and yet not be seen themselves. Is that really enough to make it different to the real thing, however, or is it merely enough to sustain the illusion that it is different?

A cuckold finds sexual satisfaction in someone not wanting to have sex with them.
Having been pretty active in the fetish and alternative lifestyle scene for a while, and having done cuckolding myself. Nope. This is, again, largely something porn and internet fantasists have made up. Most people who consume that kind of material aren't actually into cuckolding in real life, it's a safe fantasy for them which they engage in in secret, not because they would actually enjoy it happening in real life.

In reality, cuckolding on the fetish scene isn't really a dominant or submissive thing at all, or more specifically it can be either. You do get guys (and it is overwhelmingly guys) who are really into being sexually humiliated, sure. Sometimes, very, very rarely they manage to find someone female who is willing to go along with it, or else they pay a couple to pretend. However, you'll also get dominants who use cuckolding as an expression of power over submissive partners, as a way of making them feel dirty or inviting punishment. More typically, though, it has nothing to do with D/s and is just about voyeurism. You get to see your partner through someone else's (fresh) experience, and that's incredibly sexy. For me, it was exactly like watching porn, only better because the actors actually know you exist and are consciously putting on a show for you, and better still you know you're actually going to get to fuck one or both of them later.

So no. I don't buy this restrictive assumption of what the emotional dynamic is. People who watch cuckold porn on the internet may be attracted to the idea of not having sex because they're not having sex anyway, that's why they're watching porn instead of actually doing these things. That's the sad truth of any kind of fetish or kink thing, the vast, vast majority of people who fantasise about it will never actually try to do anything about it, and it shapes their experience accordingly.

And I that 'Cuck' referred to a man who found sexual appeal in watching another man sexually satisfy the former's wife. But I see it used in the Internet as if that somehow was a sign of failure in the speaker's argument (i.e. your game criticism is invalid because you're a cuck).
