Is god kind?

I have been thinking for a while is god kind,in most religons he is depicted as a heavenly person which rids us of sin (as i understand it)and helps us in our time of need yet wars,violence and murders happen.Does god want us to learn for our selves,or is there no god.If god is so kind why does he not come to our aid.As always here are my questions to u-is there a god,do u belive god is kind and why do u think god contiues to let wars happen.

As for the OP's original question, you'd have to ask the people responsible for each relevant religion, they invented him after all.

"God" doesn't cause wars, violence, and murders. People do.

I reckon he's kind. He's set something up to punish the wicked and reward the good. I quote the bible when i say that "Those who recieve their reward on earth shall not recieve it in the kingdom of heaven". You do well, you'll eventually get rewarded for it.

I also believe he wants us to look after ourselves, which is understandable. Imagine having 6 going on 7 billion people to look after?

Thank you for not being the normal bible thumper that comes beating down my door when i denounce god. And i agree to almost the Nth degree. If god WAS real and thats a HUUUUUGGGEEE IF, he would probably want nothing to do with us. Just make us and watch us. In the most nerdy of senses its like playing sims, turning on free will and just sittin back and watching. Im pretty sure thats all hed do. And heaven.......i believe its got a shortage of chairs

If God interfered with our lives whenever something goes wrong then what would be the point of freewill. My view of God is that he is neutral and likes to sit back in a recliner and says "oh boy, I wonder what those crazy humans are going to do today" as he watches from his celestial abode.
