Id say it depends on how it ended, how long ago it was and what they think about it.

Hell no, I am currently waiting for my future girlfriend to dump the egotistical jackass she's going out with now, so i can swoop in as the friend who was always there in a time of need.
Thats fine because the jackass isn't your friend.

Don't dick a bro, bro! lol.

Either way its one of those grey areas where there will be consequences, which ever decision you make.

If you go with her you risk losing a friend so you're betting on the fact that shes worth more than that friendship.

On the flipside you pass her up and risk missing out on a relationship that had the potential to be beautiful.

But if shes a 10 just fuck her, there is no excuse to pass a 10 up.

Depends. How serious was it between your freind and the girl?
No, it doesn't. They are both singal, so he should be able to date her.

Oh just go for it. If anything, it'll be her friends that think she's some sort of whore.
You should get off scott free! YAY!

My friend and his girlfriend broke up (high school) Now she is getting into me and she is really cool in my opionion. The problem is I don't know what to do. Right know I am playing it safe and just stepping back contemplating the Bros before Hoes expression. Any input on the subject I am just looking for different views any help or criticism is much appreciated.

Edit: They have been serious for about year now.
I have asnwered this question in the Relationship Problem Thread, which is here: ----> http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.117161?page=11#3418605

I think the mods should just sticky your topic for all these pathetic relationship threads popping up every few seconds tbh, it's annoying to say the least.

I'd like that too. Not sure that it'll ever happen though, but it's a nice thought. People would probably still start their own threads though.

Do you value your friends relationship enough to do it?

I probably would take her though

According to the Man code, you are required to ask him if it's ok for you to date her, and he is required to say that it is.
Dear gods why are other men still talking about that bullshit? It was a crappy ad campaign about as funny as those stupid budwieser lizards.

To be honest, I could never date my friends ex, not because of moral choices or anything but just thinking about it like, his dick has been inside this girl. It just makes me feel a little bit weird.

The Bro Code

Article 1
Bros before Hoes.
The bond between two men is stronger than the bond between a man and a woman because, on average, men are stronger than women. That's just science.

Article 87
Never sleep with your friends ex.

You can not defy the bro code bro. Let the skank go. That or try to find a instance where said bro has violated the bro code thus is no longer protected.
If this makes sense to you then you are gay.
Any man who prefers the company of other men over the company of women is gay.
Your "bro" isn't going to keep you warm on those cold winter nights now is he ?
