Let me get this straight. You feel like theres something wrong with you. Its not physical or mental. Just a feeling that your not right?

Do you feel weird in a crowd? DO you think strangers are looking at you or people you meet are judging you? Do you feel out of place in a crowd/with other people?

Not really.

I do have anxiety over some present relationship issues, but those are merited. Besides, I was aware of this feeling way before that.
Hmmm....any similarities between your current relationship issues and the issues you've had in previous relationships?

Yes.

I will admit I'm a little uneasy in large crowds and sometimes out of place, but I rarely feel like I'm being judged by someone else or rather looking at me funny. But it has happened before.

Hmm there is a term for that. Let me look it up. I'm guessing that your problem is not only this, but it plays a part. If it affects your life enough to the point that its really bothering you, I'd suggest physiological treatment. Its not something you can't live with, but Im guessing life would be better without it.

Sounds like you (thenewguy) may have some features of Generalized Anxiety Disorder.

The thoughts you cant turn off....the feeling of being awkward at times.....so and so forth. I would chat with a mental health counselor and at least get a screening done.

If your still in school I'd ask the help office if they have a school psychiatrist.

Do you hate speaking in public?

I don't have a problem speaking in public.

I have been putting off looking for a counselor in hopes that this was something minor or normal.

Enochlophobia is a fear of crowds according to the internet

Check out this site and see if you relate to anything it says

http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/38198/enochlophobia_the_fear_of_crowds.html

EDIT:

They themselves feel small and insignificant when surrounded by so many people

Do you kinda feel like this?

I think thats probably right

Newguy check this out

you may have a minor version of it, because from what you've told us you don't experience many of the symptoms but show alot of them

No one's perfect. We all have our goods and bads, so just try to find the good parts about you, and then promote those in your mind. We're all unique, so it's nothing to worry about when you're different.

Everyone feels like that from time to time, though if you feel like it enough to actually say "Hey, I feel like this a lot" it could be a number of things.

-You could have a mild case of GAD, like pimppeter2 suggested.

-You could have noticed the feeling once and become fixated on it

-You could feel this way because you're expected to behave in a way by one or more persons around you that is different than how you'd like to behave, but not so drastically that it flat out enrages you.

-I don't want to embarass you or anything, and I don't mean this as an insult. It really is just a suggestion to think about... Have you considered the possibility that you're gay?

The word you are looking for is 'different', you just described me up there, and I bet that fits almost everyone here. (The ones it doesn't fit are in denial but that means that they don't feel like somethings wrong)
