Hayden Christiansen (or however it's spelled) lived here and went to my school. (Years earlier) Oh, and according to IMDB, Uwe Boll lives here. Yay?

Since its Berlin, Germany...

*insert a very long list*

Most things happening from 1919 to 1945 should count and like 1000 more.

Patricia Cornwell's "The Body Farm" is set in my hometown. That's our only claim to fame.

What's Berlin like? I've always fancied going.

As for me, where I was born is famous for having the bejesus bombed out of it by the Germans in World War II, and it's also the the home of Jaguar (the car, not the cat :p). The town I live in now is famous for being home to the world's first ever iron bridge (it's called Ironbridge, fancy that...) and the town got its name from Thomas Telford, a prominent engineer and architect.

For those of you from Tennessee, what about Jack Daniel's?

Well, the town I grew up in had/has: Birthplace of the leader of a peasant rebellion (Engelbrekt Engelbrektsson), housed Swedens first locomotive, it's been the site of several national championships in skiing, important mining site for several hundred years (in total for about 1500 years) and currently hosts the largest electronic music festival in the Nordic countries. Think that's about it. Not too bad for a town with a population of 6,000.

Its a pretty interesting place, not really a city but a collection of smaller cities grown together. The only anomaly is the new center they build in the last 15 years or so.

You should go, I'd say.

Certainly not Austin.

San Marcos.

Same basic principle. There isn't as much live music here, but I can walk anywhere I want to and there isn't any bad traffic here.
