My SNES still works after all these years, same with my N64. Where as my Xbox is sadly no longer with us.....
I must admit, when I first skimmed through that, I read "My friend fell in a river while drunk once, and he still worked afterwards!"electric_warrior said:My friend fell in a river while drunk once and his phone still worked afterwards.

It's particularly good at absorbing atmospheric moisture for being so readily available.
It'll get rid of the moisture in the hard to reach spots where cloth is useless.
Also, never heat up electronic devices.
Heat = death.
And keep your shit out of the sun.
That's lucky. My N64 would freeze up if you breathed to close to it.ChildofGallifrey said:One time I playing the original Smash Bros. with my friend, and his sister tripped over the controller cord. The N64 fell off of his 5 1/2' dresser and landed on the linoleum floor, controller port first. The game never shut off. We just kept playing.
Whenever I read "R.I.P PSP 2005 - 2010", it reminds me of the "Tragedy Fad".KaosuHamoni said:My launch PSP had been bounced down the stairs, thrown at a concrete floor, dropped on several tiled floors (The tiles broke), thrown against walls, dropped in water, had me dropkick it several times when I missed my pocket, and it lived.
That is until one day I mashed the Square button too hard, and it broke -_-

Mine Red Ringed on the first day I bought it. Was playing MW 2 and was on the level in the air port.Half way through when Boop. Red Ring. Turned it off and on and it has worked fine ever since. I once did accidentally sit on my PS2. The casing cracked but it still worked. The game inside didn't.smearyllama said:Sometimes it just red rings as a sign of overheating. That's what mine does with terrifying frequency.Eomega123 said:3 days after my 360 got the red ring of death I was pulling out the box to ship it back to microsoft when I decided on one last test run. The xbox had fixed itself and has been working ever since.
