Just fuck around. Collect priceless artifacts, paint massive paintings everywhere, destroy random stuff just to see it be destroyed, read all the books I want, and just generally do stuff that I can't do in today's society. Hopefully someone else would have survived, preferably a women (what I'm a dude? I have my urges), but I would take anyone that poped up. Even without anyone I would probably be fine as I'd just wander around doing whatever I wanted.
I will creat a race of super inteligent cockroaches and use them to rule over the wastes as the scavenger king.
Sad but true, if my computer and internet were still working I would check Facebook and the Escapist to see if anyone else survived.
After destroying the refresh button checking for updates, I would honestly probably grab everything I could (all the important stuff... my iPod, iPod charger, headphones, my 360/PS3/PC and all my games, clothes, acoustic guitar... you know, the important stuff) and pack it into my car and just drive. Look around, try to find food... it would be a pretty boring post apocalyptic movie.

Then play some more Xbox 360.

I'd make sure I can survive, first off. Get MREs from a military base, learn how to hunt, befriend as many dogs as possible to fend off other wild dogs, find a solar powered house, etc.
Then I'd just read and learn about cloning.
Either that, or dig straight down until I find diamond.
