When I was 6 years I didn't want to be racist or prejudicial.
When I was 12 I was eerie of the mentally-disabled kids.
When I was 14 I was past that, but I realized I didn't have any black friends and I didn't get along with people who happened to be Chinese.
When I was 18 I realized I wasn't racist or really that prejudicial and that I judged people based on what they did.

I'm 20 now.....I realize that I HARSHLY judge people bashed on one or two rude things that they do and I am skeptical of every person I meet....I'm a misanthrope.

I went through a phase... Where I hated anything animation, including Pixar movies /shame.

But now, I absolutely adore good animated television and movies. But this was more me just growing up and leaving my ignorant animationisforkids ways behind, rather than growing a taste for something.

And both coffee and tea for me!

I used to hate Meg Cabot novels and only read them because they were so bad they were good. Then I read The Princess Diaries, and long story short, I'm reading the sixth book in the series right now.

When I was younger I used to despise gossiping or bitching of any kind. I stood by the belief that if you have a problem with somebody then you should just say it to them or keep your mouth shut.

While I still stand by that belief, in my current workplace I find it extremely difficult to not become hypocritical in regards to that stance, especially when it comes to my manager.

I get extremely angry with myself for not being able to avoid it, even if what I am saying about them is perfectly true.

Ha I too hated tea when I was kid, heck I was still drinking milk during cold winter (I hated hot milk)!

Anyway I guess to me that just be me having a wide range of taste for food.

Let me explain-
As a child I was very picky at the food I ate so I had a narrow range of food to eat but I kind of glad I was like that since when my brother was a kid, he was fat due to my parent wide range of cooking.
Granted my parent insist at me trying new different foods like Pizza, Burger and ham sandwich which eventually worn me down one at a time. I suppose the last food was baked beans but I still prefer not having it unless it's baked beans on toast.

I guess I do got to thanks my parent for forcing me to have a wider taste bud since I shrug at other people lame taste of food. E.g. My formers mates from High School only like plain or ham pizza only when I prefer more toppings on it (serious WTH with plain pizza?) and plain burger aswell (in fact it took several minutes longer for the crew at Mc Donalds to make my mate a plain Cheeseburger he order while I was enyoing my Big Mac). It took them years later to have the non plain kind of pizza and burger.
I also shrug at those kids during Jamie Oliver shows when he try to give them better meals for dinner time since when I was at their ages I would had ate and enjoyed those sort of food at that he made.

I used to hate wine. Now I love it.

I think I read somewhere that the taste buds, and what a person likes or not, really can and does change over time so something someone legitimately hated once, they can come to really love.

I've always hated coffee though. I tried a cup the other day and I still hate it.

Welcome to the Tea side.Become one with the almighty leaf, let it flow in your blood, let it give you the strength of a thousand mammoths.

I used to hate coffee, but after having almost every form of espresso in Italy(Except Americano, that stuff is horrid)I rotate to having tea in the morning and coffee in the morning, along with some sourdough bread which I always loved.
On a weekend at the air-soft field, I chug up to 10 mugs in 6 hours, same goes for ArmA II sessions.

I used to hate action films on principle, I guess it was a by-product of being a budding teenage film snob. When I pulled my head out of my arse I realised that I do enjoy them, and that led onto me being less pretentious in general, so s'all good, man!

There is a plant that taste like beef? And you can grow this plant Why are there people still pondering the meaning of life or debating the existence of God? THERE IS A PLANT THAT TASTE LIKE COW MEAT!
Fuck you Richard Dawkins, fuck you.

No, but I may be the american version of you. I hear that's done a lot.

*Looks at profile*

I know, I'm such a failure.
I don't think I'll ever come around to liking mashed potatoes though. Maybe I'm not Irish at all, what if I'm adopted?

I used to hate coffee, especially the ones on the stronger end of the spectrum. But when I was holidaying in Ireland last year, I figured I might as well try a latte, and I found it to be quite soothing. And then more recently, I tried some of my friend?s creamy cappuccino, and I was like, ?OK, I have got to drink this shit more often.?

However, those are the only coffees I can tolerate: latte and cappuccino. The others can fuck right off.

And I used to not like mustard when I tried it for the first time in America, but then years later, I thought it?d be nice to try it on a burger and it was delicious. I mean, it?s strong, but I like overpowering flavours like that. It?s why I practically torture myself with a super-spicy hot pepper sauce whenever I eat it with chips or something.

I used to hate pie. Texture never sat right with me.

Then, a few years ago, I gave it another chance, and it was great.
I'm borderling addicted to those cheapish cookies-and-cream pies they sell at grocery stores.

<.<
Don't judge me.

Still hate cheescake though, texture reminds me too much of mud that someone shat in.
Don't ask me how I know that.
