Bah, Gundam Wing. For all Treize Khushrenada was awesome, Wing itself was merely "okay."

Mobile Suit Gundam, Zeta Gundam, 0080: War in the Pocket, 08th MS Team, Turn A Gundam, Gundam SEED... all better than Wing, and then some.

Wing might be emoy but seed is a joke, Zero is far better....tho 08th ms team is the best IMO.

Mines a Super (by definition) It ALLREADY owns the crap out of a real... if it could ever hit it still cmon we have to see a Mazinger Z or Getter Robo statue soon.

Also the Tetsujin is PERMANENT.

Oh yes and Tetsujin is also 1:1 soon Japan will have Giant Robot attractions all over the country. and then the appropriate kids/teenagers will get he watch/plot macguffin/ fall into the cockpit. And I for one WELCOME my new mecha overlord.

Psh. Depends on the real. I've always been more of a real fan than a super fan, tbqh. I like their designs so much more. Don't get me wrong, hotblood and all that is fun, but I like the Real look more. Super Robots tend to look kind of silly to me, with a few exceptions (mainly Gainax - TTGL and either of the Busters)

Oh yeah I gotta agree with that I allways found myself a fan of Banprestos R-Series over the Grungusts (But not the Dynamic General Guardians becuase those kick ass) And if the Huckbeins were more than Gundam Ripoffs I would probably love them more too. Not to mention Valkyries.

Still Supers are my love ever since Daitarn 3 which the basic premise was "What if James Bond looked 24 was aged as 18 and piloted a Giant Robot." sorta like Big O except Silly instead of Film Noir and made by Tomino.

Speaking of Giant Robots less tghan 48 Hours to the Debut of Neon Genesis Evangelion 2.0 You can (not) advance! Then like 6 months for a DVD release for a fansub then infinity until we get a fucking english dub!

Also for added laughs there is a Scene in Sunrise World War were Roger Smith and Spike Spiegel talk to one another, it's insanely funny when you remember BOTH are voiced by Steven Blume.

On the other hand, Animated Unicorn Movie to come out next year and Gundam 0081 game Exlusive for PS3 we will likely never get in english the bastards!

And I could tell you were a Real man what with the Gunpla, I don't have any just zome Zoid models... god I love Zoids.

I had a friend show me some Zoids battle scenes with the T-Rex guy. It looked pretty badass.

Freedom? Yes. Strike Freedom? Fuck no. The Gundam designs in the original SEED were not bad, while not as drool-inducing for myself as lets say the Unicorn Gundam [http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3520/3278281850_ab2ea9cc20.jpg]

Also Combat Mecha Xabungle will forever be my favorite show just from this line

I agree with you on both points - Freedom is one of my favorite Gundam suits, but I loathe the S. Freedom (not just because it marked the part where GSD truly jumped the shark). Also, delicious Red Frame and Unicorn are delicious.

See, S. Freedom takes the (relatively) simple frame of the Freedom and just adds so much unnecessary clutter. But I think the biggest offender is all the random gold they added to it. It really feels like they were all "Hey, remember that gold overlay on that one shot of the Freedom in the final fight of SEED?" (Which was, admittedly pretty cool looking: 3:15 here [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1Rja-mohLk&feature=related] - also a rare example of Kira Yamato being all hotblood... by Real standards, anyway) "LET'S PUT IT ALL OVER THE STRIKE FREEDOM. It'll make it look TWICE as awesome!"

See SEED's only redeeming feature (I mean BESIDES Mwu La Flaga) was the Strike and the Freedom. I don't know HOW the designs got so retarded up in Destiny (Though I will admit I like the Destiny Gundams design, certainly not my favorite but it's cool) but they DID I mean even TAKE destiny as an example it had palm cannons but to use them it couldn't use any hand held weapons!

I also HATE the METEOR packs, it seemed like a cheap way to reference the GP-03 which will forever be more awesome than the METEORs.

The GP-03 is my favorite Gundam however just cause the 0083 OVA had such potential that got royally fucked up by the director switching half way through and that GOD AWFUL love triangle.

Still was better than SEEDs "The most attractive romantic prospect right now for Kira is his Twin Sister, because she's not a Mary sue or a Psycho *****

IDK man. Say what you will, but I liked SEED well enough. It's got flaws - namely the whole first 3/5 of the show where it's essentially just remaking First Gundam - but I think the latter half of the show was actually pretty good. The relationship between Kira and Athrun was an interesting personal touch that Amuro and Char never had (in 0079, that is), and hell, I think *Kira* came into his own too, once he got the Freedom and manned up (er, for the most part). Yes, GSD threw Kira, Athrun, Cagalli, Lacus, etc. into the character derailment train, but I think they were decently developed (well maybe not Lacus) and worked well in the first series.

I actually need to finish watching 0083 one of these days. I own it on DVD, too. I just got sidetracked, lol. Honestly, the best thing about the METEOR was watching Rau effortlessly dismantle it, forcing Kira to face him 1v1 with just the Freedom.
