Whilst it's great that people believe in Freedom of expression, you obviously don't believe in the freedom of personal space. I hope the judge prosecutes your buddy Jar Jar for assault, when he stuck his face into that unsuspecting pissed off doods face. Not everyone is cool with being fucked around with retards.

That was not a Aprils Fools Day joke. They did that a couple months ago as well.

and I do not understand this hatred for JarJar. He was a funny guy in the movies and I for one would welcome him back into the movies.
right... not aprils fools. Right

so this link to their website that says APRIL FOOLS on it is totally wrong right?

I love how everyone who didn't get the joke doesn't think it's funny.

Yes, son, you got fooled. If no one is fooled by the joke, it isn't funny for those who weren't :).

Objection!

There is no way this was an April Fools... It's too fucking obvious, besides who would think an April Fools joke involving Jar Jar could ever be a good idea?

So yeah definately not fake, much to that actors dismay i expect
This is an April Fool's Joke, those Improv Everywhere people admit it in their website...

Wow, kind of poor taste for a joke. Those subways ain't exactly the greatest experience sometimes as it is. Anyways, if something like this really did happen, and you actually polled New Yorkers on if the guy should've had his ass kicked or not, I can guarantee people would have voted with fists.

OK, on one hand, it sucks that these guys got assaulted while they were attempting to film a viral improv video. On the other, though, maybe they'll take this as a lesson: when you're getting in the face of a guy who looks like Bruce Willis's angry twin and he repeatedly tells you to get away, maybe you should take his suggestion to heart.
I'd have to reply with a strong no. That'd be treating the attackers as if they had any authority to assault him - they didn't. It doesn't matter how annoying he was, they shoved him to the ground and intended to make an example out of the actor. That is not on.
He's not justifying the attack, he's saying they may have wanted to pick someone less violent looking. It's like if you walk through a really bad neighborhood and get mugged, you didn't deserve it, but you could have exercised more caution.

It's one of Improv Everywhere's April Fools pranks, based on Star Wars Subway Car they did before.

If you at all think this is serious, your missing a few screws in your head.

The entire post is a prank. The fact that they want you to contact their website and circulate their video instead of contacting police makes this blatantly obvious. Seriously, I expect better from the people here at Escapist.

I guess I have a few screws missing in my head because I thought that a video put on May 31st had a chance of being genuine and can actually picture something like this happening.

It is very obvious. Improv everywhere does something like this every year where the actual victim is the audience itself.

I suppose it would be if I had heard of them.

All of their pranks are like that. Their whole joke is banking on people not getting fed up and beating them up for screwing with everyone's day. I honestly think they deserve to get arrested or punched for all the stupid crap they do. It's not all that funny and they are really, really in-your-face annoying.
