Yeah, totally not staged. Totally.

Regardless, seems like a good enough reason to jump someone to me.

Jar Jar had it comming. I am one of the few how liked JJ but the guy did tell him to get away. JJ should have respected that. Although I totally lost it when Darth Maul tried to get on.

The only reason I don't believe this to be an April Fool's joke would be the influx of calls to the police about the beating. Not worth it to piss of those people.

That being said, when a big angry dude tells you to back the fuck up, you back the fuck up.

This is why when an angry looking guy tells you in NYC to back off, you do so. Some New Yorkers are crazy.
*talking like one of the goodfeathers* So what, you sayin' I'm crazy 'cause I'm from New York? You sayin' that I'm insane in the brain? That I'm loco?

(just pulling your leg ;]

OR AM I? THAT'S IT! *starts flailing punches*)

I'm at a loss though as to how I should take this. I mean, that guy was just doing what everyone wants to do to Jar-Jar, but then again, they're pressing charges. But that guy did keep getting to that guy's face even though he clearly stated to get away from him.

I hope it's an April Fools thing, because ,sure, maybe they were annoying someone, and you should really pick up on the signs and know when to quit and move on, but Improv Everywhere have just pretty much been doing fun things in public, and making hundreds of people's days a whole load better with every event they pull.

I seriously recommend looking up their stuff, the Best Buy thing was great, where they had about a hundred people show up in the staff colours of blue n khaki, but they all had to act like they didn't know why people were asking them questions.

There was another where they took over a whole set of listening posts in a music store, and did some choreographed dance moves...then just left.

Of course, the 'no pants' subway thing is a regular and a great idea. I'm a cynical, miserable bastard at the best of times, but even I can see there's not an ounce of malice in these guys, they just want to spread some fun and happiness in a world that's sorely lacking.

Present > Evidence > Jar Jar Outfit

Objection!

There is no way this was an April Fools... It's too fucking obvious, besides who would think an April Fools joke involving Jar Jar could ever be a good idea?

So yeah definately not fake, much to that actors dismay i expect

If its real (and I think it is, not sure I can see the joke even if its April fools?) I think the JarJar guy completely deserved it. As others have said he repeatedly pressed into the guys face despite being told repeatedly to go away. When Darth Maul came in though it was awesome how everyone rushed to stop him from getting a beating too.

If its a fake April Fools.... meh, its a bit retarded if it is.

I don't care if this is an April's Fools joke or not. The Jar-jar Binks actor had it coming.

This is either the best, most convincing April Fools' joke ever, or the most terribly-timed tragedy ever.
