No, but I considered it. I'm like Mystik Spiral in that way.

But you could be Tippy2K14! You know, like a roster update or something.

I actually had a different username when I first joined over the summer. Then I decided to change it to Hero of Lime because I thought it was more memorable than the original. I like the original, so I use it for another username. I won't disclose it because I gotta keep a few secrets don't I? ;3

I used to go by the name "VanQQisH" here. I used the QQ as a homage to my years playing WarCraft 2 online where "/QQ" was the command to quit the match and close the game entirely. It was often used when the losing team would start complaining over text chat.

A lot of people would just go "Oh don't take this guy seriously, he has "QQ" in his name." when they disagreed with me. I got a bit sick of that particular ad hominem so dealt with it accordingly. Nowadays I'm apparently just ignorant/a misogynist/perpetuating the patriarchy. Can't win them all, eh folks?

I just changed it after finding out that I can just now. I changed it on steam about a year ago and have been changing the accounts that I can.

I briefly entertained the idea of changing it to "I Divided By Zero And Saw God" when the site allowed longer names, but I decided it wasn't worth the trouble.

So I continue to pursue the knack and never obtain it.

Nope, always been Grouchy Imp, all the way back to the mid-90s playing dial-up through my Compuserve account. The only reason I have bloody stupid numbers after my XBL account is because I was unwilling to surrender a profile name I'd used for fifteen+ years just because someone had registered their 360 before mine.

I find keeping the same username to be the best way for allowing those who like me to easily find me and those who dislike me to safely ignore me - everyone's a winner.

Yeah, I changed my username. My first one was really stupid and not a little bit childish so I just kind of grew out of it. When the option came around to change it, I did pretty much immediately. Switched it to EscapeGoat (the name of a band I was part of in Sixth Form and also a bit fitting for this site, I thought) and I've been very happy with it ever since.

Yup, did it a while back. Lets see if anyone can remember it who I didn't hang out with way back in 2009 and 2010.

As for why I changed it, lets just say I didn't want numbers in it.
Plus I rename myself after a Tenacious D song I liked. :p

I wanted to change my name but I decided not to. It's a pretty terrible name that 13 year old me came up with, but I've used it everywhere so I can't be bothered changing it now. It does have the advantage that it is almost never taken (I think only Youtube already had it).

I was Zeroblade0, a username I use just about everywhere else. I saw the user Soundwave, and I thought it would be amusing to change my username to Soundwave's Autobot counterpart, Blaster. I do not regret using up my one-time-username-change. I kinda like actually, he doesn't get enough love in the series.

Nope, and I like my username here too much to change it. That and I'm too damn lazy to come up with a new one and change it.

I will forever and ever be known as a toaster named Fiz. :D

Here, no. Anywhere else, technically no. I had an account on Gaia hacked a long while back, so I had to make a new account with my pen name.

Well I prefer "Late Knights" but it's often taken (more so than "Phantom Kat"). I don't mind this name though so I tend to stick with it. Having multiple names comes in handy when you play multiple classes in MMOs anyway.

I have never changed my username, and don't plan on ever doing so. For one thing, I'm not the most prolific person here, and I don't want to make myself MORE difficult to recognize!

Besides, I often feel compelled to inform people that Buster Keaton rules, as this fact is less commonly known these days than it should be. Having this statement as my username, I get to deliver that message to all of you, all the time - AND it doesn't count as spam!

No... Because why would I change the one name that will always point to me whenever you look me up online?

It's THAT unique to never change, regardless that it's not an actual nickname (says those that have "actual" nicknames), let alone a actual word... yet... (since it's pronounced "Fuh-ploon"... and it always spell in capital letters...)

I've never been able to have The as a username, so I'll keep mine.

My original user name was an FF6 reference I came up with on a whim and to make a long story short I realized it didn't exactly fit who I was so I sort of feminized it to the new one a few weeks back.

Though the Uncle Ulty scene in FF6 is still pretty funny.

...you my friend are brilliant! Tippy2K14 it is! I'll have to figure out how to get it to Tippy2K15 next year but that's future Tippy's problem, not mine! :D

Interestingly enough, "Tippy" was available until July last year, when someone claimed it.

You've been here since 2008, and you could've had a simplified username much much sooner!
I'm not even sure why I went with 2k2 (especially since I joined in 08). My email is tippy2k2 so that's probably why (or at least seems like a reasonable reason but you never know what past Tippy was thinking...he was such an idiot!)
