I use backloggery.com to track mine. It got to a point earlier this year where I had to stop looking at upcoming games and just force myself to play the ones I already owned, even avoiding the Steam summer sale. It's the cheap bundles that really got me, luckily they seem to be pretty rubbish as of late, so I'm really not missing anything.

Currently:

49 Unplayed Steam games, 14 Unfinished
22 Unplayed PS3 games, most of which as still in the cellophane
24 Unplayed on my GOG account, though a lot are the free ones they give away
13 Unplayed "Other PC games"

and a handful of browser games that are on my to-do list.

Damn, reading those numbers is shocking!

A few on the PS3.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
BioShock Infinite
Dishonored
inFAMOUS
inFAMOUS 2
Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando
Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal

I also have the ICO & Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection, but I already beat them on the PS2. Does it still count as backlog?

It doesnt look like much, actually:

Deus Ex: i feel like i should play it at some point, but it's just so old
Deus Ex Human Revolution
System shock 2: same reason as deus ex
Bioshock: sound doesnt work and i cant be assed to fix that
battle realms: never finished the campaign. shouldnt take that much time
Tomb raider: almost finished, luckily
Demon's souls: a second playthrough
Planescape torment: same reason as deus ex and system shock 2
Divinity original sin: not even bought yet, but i always hear how good it is
Skyrim: almost finished the main story, never played the DLC's. i feel like i should really play the shit out of this game, but i just cant be bothered to dive into it (and all the modding) again
Minecraft: same reason as skyrim. starting it means i have to deal with a lot of mods first. and if i get into it again, it will require a lot of time
mass effect 2 and 3: needs another playthrough as femshep. i thought about playing mass effect 1 again aswell, but it just feels too clunky. so ill probably just edit a savegame to use in ME2
witcher 2: a lot of people recommend it to me, telling me it's one of the best RPGs ever, but so far i couldnt get into it.

Im so busy with just dota2, dark souls 2 and guild wars 2 at the moment that i barely have any time to deal with my backlog.

looks nice but sadly that site lacks a lot of options when it comes to game time. doesnt seem to be that useful.

Here is my current backlog:

Assassins Creed IV: Black flag (but I only got it about two weeks ago and I love exploring the world)
Assassins Creed III: Couldn't get into it, and I really cannot be bothered playing it.
Borderlands II I just stopped playing it, it just ceased to be interesting for me.
Shin Megami Tensei: Digital devil saga

With the exception of Assassins Creed IV I probably won't finish the games I have listed, especially with the Pokemon remakes, Persona Q, Assassins creed: Rogue and Assassins Creed Unity all coming out in the next few months, I can just see my backlog increase.

Don't worry, I've got this patented Acme [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acme_Corporation] time travelling machine. Just 299,99 USD. Or for the cheap price of 400 Euro.

@ The topic: Uhm.. few hundred hours worth of backlog. That, I know. I can't be arsed to check out the exact amount though

Uhm I think I'm reaching about 100 games or so. We just keep finding great deals on various console and PC games... One would think I'm rich or something but really I am just damn good at bargain shopping (well my wife is great at it, better than me).

Yea, the bundles are what get me.

My backlog has grown a little bit over the last few months, since I've been busy as hell trying to finish off my University assignments. Essay man, do me in every time. Especially when it's an essay on my own creative work...

Amnesia: The dark Descent
Batman: Arkham City
Batman: Arkham Origins
Bioshock Infinite
Brutal Legend
Cloudbuilt
Crysis
Crysis 2
Cthulhu Saves the World
Dead Island
Deponia
Dishonored
Dust: An Elysian Tail
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
Just Cause 2
Limbo
Lone Survivor
Mark of the Ninja
Memoria
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
Mirrors Edge
Of Orcs And Men
Papers, Please
Psychonauts
Remember Me
Rise of the Triad (remake)
Saints Row: The Third
Shadow Warrior (remake)
Shadowrun Returns
Shadowrun: Dragonfall
Sleeping Dogs
The Stanley Parable
Thomas Was Alone
Tomb Raider
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
The Wolf Among Us
XCOM: Enemy Unknown

With the additions of:

Dark Souls II
Wasteland 2
Shadow of Mordor
Alien Isolation
Borderlands The Pre-Sequel!
The Evil Within

Hyrule Warriors
Gears of War
Gears of War 2
Gears of War 3
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Megaman X: Command Mission
Final Fantasy X-2
Dead Rising 2
Darksiders

So, yeah. I've got a few games on backlog. Doesn't help that Pokemon and Dragon Age 3 are coming out next month, which will distract me from trying to drain this list a bit.
Blood Dragon is a fun little experiment. If you're not a completionist it should only take you around 6-7 hours. A lot of the outposts feel the same so I didn't bother clearing out because they felt so similar actually. I think I did around half of them.

At the moment I'm trying to focus on:

Hyrule Warriors - I'm about 80% of the way through the main campaign, and 25% of the first Adventure board. Yet to level up many characters beyond my main three (Link, Impa, Zelda) and have a tonne of content to get through. I doubt I'll get anywhere near 100% but I do aim to at least play through at least a couple of times and clear 80% of the Adventure board. I think it'll keep me busy till Smash Bros is out anyway...

Pokemon Y - Just captured Yveltal, so I think I'm 75% through the main game. I've sturggled to get this far so I'm not interested in any post-game quests/levelling.

Tales Of Xillia - Probably 30% of the way through it. Found it a bit hit and miss so far (Good combat, story and levelling options; terrible graphics, voice acting and overall presentation) but I will finish it eventually.

Intend to finish:

Luigi's Mansion 2
FFX & X-2
Child of Light
Earthbound
NSMB U

Still need to start:

Bravely Default
Black Ops 2 campaign
Tales of Symphonia Chronicles
Batman Arkham Origins
AC Black Flag
Bayonetta 1 & 2

Still need to buy:

Zelda Link between worlds
M&L Dream Team Bros
Prof Layton Azran Legacy
Layton V Wright
South Park Stick of Truth
Last of Us
Lightning Returns
Borderland Pre-Sequel
Tales of Xillia 2
Fantasy Life
Ys Memories of Celcetta

See you all in about five years!
Arkham Origins was actually really quick actually Borderlands though... that'll keep you occupied for a while longer.

Red Faction: Armagedon
Bionicle Heroes
Darkest of Days
Killzone 2
Resistance 1&2
Psyconaughts
Beyond Good and Evil
Dr. Muto
And Sly Cooper 1&2

If there are any others I can't think of them at the moment.

Thought I'd make a list:

Bastion
Bit Trip Runner 2
Bioshock Infinite
Cave Story+
Cloubdbuilt
Darksiders II
Dirt 3
Enslaved
Guacamelee
Half-Life
Half-Life 2
Hard Reset
Marlow Briggs
Megabyte Punch
Portal 2
Sleeping Dogs
Serious Sam 3
Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed
Sonic Generations
Strider
Ys: The Oath in Felghana

Bulletstorm
COD: Black Ops
Singularity
Super Mario 3D Land
Zelda A Link Between Worlds

That's a lot of fish games! Thinking of starting Enslaved tonight, followed by Strider. What do you guys think I should play next? Some of the games I've beat before (like Sleeping Dogs), and I'm trying not to buy anything until I've cut this down a bit.
You can finish Bulletstorm in about 6 hours or less fyi.

OT: Around 30 or so with 23 being PC games and 7 PS3 games. I have been hacking away at them lately and will prolly be down to 25 or so before the Steam Christmas sale/Amazon Christmas sale **** that up.

My backlog is immense because it goes back all the way to the SNES/PS1 and I own quite a lot of consoles. I guess I have about 200 to 350 games that I could complete (not counting fighting games). I get a lot of review copies, that's why it's that much. And I have a relationship and a job.

While it's great to get almost all games for free, there are quite a lot of stuff I would like to play through that simply gets lost in the pile.

From the top of my head I'd very moch like to complete/start with:
Danganronpa 1+2
Virtue's Last Reward
Final Fantasy X HD
Final Fantasy XIII-2+LR
Kingdom Hearts 1.5
Metal Gear Solid Collection
The Witcher 1+2
Darksiders 2
Ni No Kuni
Sly Cooper 4
Layton 4-6
Miles Edgeworth/Ace Attorney DD
Dark Souls 1+2
Tales of 'everything released in the EU/US'
Earthbound
Zelda Skyward Sword/Link between Worlds
Thief (I know it's supposed to be bad, but don't care)
Assassin's Creed Black Flag
Persona 4 Golden, SMT 4, Soul Hackers

... and that's barely scratching the surface.
