And I am terribly bored. Someone suggest something to occupy my time please?

If you're going to suggest playing another game or watching a film or reading a book, please have some suggestions/recommendations :D

EDIT: Have already played/killed Oblivion and Fallout 3 but thanks for the suggestions :D
Go back to WoW, your guild misses you. :p

<Seriously, I haven't quit yet>

On a more serious note: "Dragon Age: Origins", "Mass Effect 1 & 2", "Red Dead Redemption",
Just Cause 2" and "Alan Wake" are all pretty good. Deadly Premonition is a lot like a PS-2 game, but it's only $20 and a really good free-roam horror game that does pretty much everything Alan Wake doesn't (though Alan Wake does what it does very well). "Alpha Protocol" so far turned out to not be as bad as many people claim.

That said, for books I whole heartedy recommend "Demon Theory" by Stephen Grahm Jones, "House Of Leaves" by Mark Z. Danielewski, and just about anything by Edward Lee if your in for a more low-brow horror fix (yes I'm on a horror books kick).

Right now I'm reading Steven King's "Under The Dome" which is a bit slow, I'm 400 pages into it (out of a little over a thousand) and let's just say while things happen it's like watching a glaciar slowly creeping along. Decent atmosphere, but low on action even for him.

Pretty much every other game I play besides WoW comes from the good people from Valve.
You should pay them a visit.

But honestly, there's only two paths for people who quit WoW. They actually do quit for good, or get bored and return to WoW. And seeing Cataclysm, something tells me that the second path is going to be more common nowadays.

Nope I'm done. Went rogue. Kick all my guild members below me, sent all my money (and guild's money) to a friend. Told the girl that said she liked me that she was a whore.

No going back. Ever :p
Well if you say so.

[small][sub]Whoa, what's this...?[/sub][/small]

Uhh... wow. I'm in shock.

Have I met someone who is better at burning bridges than I am? :O
I suppose not till now? I figured if I was going out, I had to go out in style :D!
I personally would not call that very stylish, but ok. As for me, I left all my stuff on my account intact: My 7 80's, friend and guild relations still relatively positive, as well as my over 600,000 gold. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that I feel like going back sometimes.

Would you like a hug? I want to hug you right now. You might be the only person so far to read about everything and give me an informed answer. Come here... Hugs time!

The entire GTA series is a good option, if you want something good for a change.

Monster Hunter Tri might take your mind off of things for a while. It's similar to wow but different (and supports multiplayer, up to four players I believe.)

I completed it in about 2 days...
Did you grind the main quest or do a lot of side missions as well? I have almost 40 hours of gameplay on my file and haven't beaten it yet. Not even close, as far as I can tell. But I do every side task I find and delve deep into the dialogue and all of the characters side plots. I'm a sucker for story and immersion.

Well, without sandboxing almost anything at all (due to lack of time), I currently finished the story mode at 69 hours, and a lot of side stuff still to be done. If you enjoy sandbox games that can easily stretch up to 100 hours, at least.

Maybe Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura, I've been sick at home for two weeks straight and it has more or less captured my attention. I even found this neato trailer for it:

However, I wouldn't recommend using the real-time combat mode it was something rushed in at the last moment due to external pressures to Sierra, and it's far too fast. The turn-based combat works great though. I do like how you can play as a magic-headed Frankenstein monster, however.
