Lots, from all angles, most vocally from the black "community" (in quotes because we haven't had a real one since Dr King Jr died). A majority of us use the term "African-American", which I find to be the second stupidest term ever created ("Nigga" being the first). That would be like a white American calling themselves "European-American". One of worst parts about that term is it puts African before American, which imo suggest that you're not
really an American, but some African who just happens to be in America. It's one of those PC segregating terms I would love to see disappear.
Forgive me for the mini rant, but it's a part of an ongoing problem in our country (the USA's schools
misrepresenting racial history from the 1700s and up, black history month, etc). Hypocrites like Kelis only serve to push us further and further back in this country, keep the issue swept under the rug, and keep our nation divided.
