On the other hand, from a logical perspective I don't see why this shouldn't be developed. Nearly every other form of media is subject to porn in some kind of way, and since games are becoming more mainstream it's something that's bound to happen. Also, a devise that relies on the movement of your body to play games? That's, pardon the pun, gagging for it.

Games have been subjected to porn for a long time already. Whilst depending on how pixelated you think it can be and still count as porn it goes as far back as the eighties. It's just that it has stayed out of the mainstream, and if there is some kinect porn game made it probably won't be on the shelves of your local games store.

Machulis doesn't think that the fidelity of the sensor is enough to pick up smaller objects such as genitalia, but he was successful in getting it to recognize a larger sex toy and his tongue.
