I'm surprised no one has suggested this yet but there are cat doors you can buy and install that come with a collar that opens the door when the cat is near it, meaning only your cat could open the door. The neighbor cat is just out of luck.

Throw it in a cat carrier and take it to the closest RSPCA place, they should take it.

My god, this isn't as difficult as you're making it out to be. Hose the fucking cat down with water at the very least pick up a good powered supersoaker, they're pretty cheap. It will also be a blast tormenting the little piece of shit. If nothing else give it a good fucking kick with a sturdy shoe, it will learn one way or another to stay the hell away. Hell if I were there i'd do it for you.

Don't be such pansies people, this isn't a politically correct world like you want it to be, remember? Animals still kill animals as a general rule, they don't hug each other to get their point across.

You are right, ive had enough, I shouldn't be the one looking after it. I don't have a cat carrier but ill makeshift one. I can't believe my neighbour though, apparently cause the cat is old it would have a "hard time adjusting to the new house"... yeah ok, leaving it to raid other peoples houses is way better

If you have the money go for the electronic catflap. Some of em come with a collar that has the key built into it, so unless your cats able to take the collar it's self off it shouldn't get lost. I would just suggest grabbing it if you can and taking it down to the pound but since your cats also an outdoor cat, that would probably just get your neighbor to do the same thing with your cat.

It may sound cruel, but have you thought about calling Animal Control? The situation you are in is unacceptable, and if you're worried about them putting the other cat to sleep, not all pounds do that. Alternatively, you could try to find an SPCA [http://www.spcai.org/] near you.

Even so, surely if the cats are fighting, he would want to keep his one out of danger? His cat is intruding on your property, causing harm to both cats, so surely the onus of responsibility is on him. You should try talking it out and if he is unresponsive, threaten to spray his cat with something disguting... or something.
