And a hardcopy is better, but I've none of the shops in my hometown still sell xbox-games. Btw, a new secondhand store opened here, I'll check that out. But thanks for the helpstabnex said:Goodbutbetter, sir, I have an answer. You see, I work in a video game store and am constantly assaulted with this question (though most are retarded varations of 'will my y system game work in my unrelated in any way z system?').
Check Dis [http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm] This is the list of original XBOX games that have patches available for backwards compatibility on the 360. A hard drive and an XBOX Live Gold account that is actively signed in is required for the patch to download/launch the game.
This method requires purchasing the game first and because of its continuing popularity and the fact a sequel in the form of an MMO is in development, it may be rather costly. But honestly, isn't a hard copy better than a flimsy digital one that can be erased remotely by a vindictive Microsoft employee you completely owned a Halo deathmatch?
I just logged on to say that you should get banned for this.Godbutbetter said:Jesus, surely you have an opinion? Let me rephrase, if you had some spare cash, which of these games would you buy? Now pretty please with sugar on top, answer the goddamn questionAmnestic said:Why? "FPS + RPG or RPG + TPP?"
Orange or banana? Red or crimson? You can't compare games from different genres, and we're not ones to tell you this. You can watch gameplay videos, you know.
Plus; orange and crimson
I daresay good sir you could do with tuning up your attitude. Making demands of people in such a way doesn't sit well with a great number of members. Asking? No problem. Telling is a whole other ball game.
You can't compare Fallout 3, Jade Empire and KotOR because they're different games from different time periods using different technology in different genres with entirely different settings.
I've used this analogy before, but I shall do so again: It's like comparing an Apple and a car engine and wanting to know which has the best electrical conductivity underwater.
And I'm probably gonna get banned for this, but so be it
All xbox games have trouble on the 360, a bad frame-rate is one of the better problems.OneHP said:KOTOR2 is also backwards compatible, however on both boxes I've played it on it has suffered framerate issues.
WTF man? I asked a simple question and I get this fucked up reaction. I admit I reacted in an unintelligent way, but I can't see why he couldn't just anwer the question like others did.Saphatorael said:I just logged on to say that you should get banned for this.Godbutbetter said:Jesus, surely you have an opinion? Godbutbetter: You're being a jerk, maybe you should leave this alone for a day or two.
Just pointing out that everything here after was mostly unnecessary dribble. The guy just asked a question which you didn't actually have to reply too in the first place, it's a shocker I know.Abedeus said:What sort of question is this?Godbutbetter said:Ok, thanks but I have one last question; Should I get Fallout 3 instead?

He changed genre, big deal.
He kept it in this thread and didn't go make another one, which half the Escapist would have stoned him for had he done that.
Lets give people a chance, last I checked we're not limited to question or do we have a questions asked policy now?

I never played Jade Dynasty.
I do have Fallout3 and it's not bad, it took me a while to get into it before that I used to play it in hourly sessions more or less.
Just walking around dealing lead face implants to passers by.
Try a rent if anything, see how you feel about it.
thanks man, I don't want to be known as 'that jerk'Saphatorael said:That's all I wanted to hear. We forgive you :3Godbutbetter said:I admit I reacted in an unintelligent way
I've got KOTOR 1 and 2 and both work on my 360, even with the glitches/ bugs on it.Godbutbetter said:Does anyone know if Knights of the old Republic is backwards compatible and if you can purchase it on live?
