As Dr. Grejir backs up slowly the feeling intensifies as if he were moving toward the source. The pain then lessens, whatever was causing seems to be moving away.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Adam approaches the building and sees it in greater detail. It is a soot covered brick and cement building, a section of the roof is still in repair, crossbeams still visable. Through the hole in the roof you see large, industrial lights shining. Their is a man sized hole in the wall but two men are standing guard. Through the hole their is a large flap saying authorized personal only.
I'll you can't see it just yet but I'll assume that you assumed that something important is in there.

"That building," Regal broadcast telepathically, pointing at the subject of his attention with his finger, "Contains a lot of electronic activity. Maybe even cybernetics. I would wager that Ms. Yang, or at least her associates, are located inside. We simply need to find a way to get past the guards."

Angela grunted slightly as the pain slid into her mind. It was tough to be sure, but the obvious possibility existed. She spoke as she tried to isolate the pain; observe it in a way.

"A psychic attack." She said as she massaged her temple. "Feels defensive rather then active. Most likely an artificial source." She concluded in her scratchy voice.

Angela glanced behind her, quickly confirming that she was still within acceptable range of Shrendius. If he withdrew too far then she would have to follow him, but it seemed he was still close enough. Fine then, Angela did not want to back down.

A small spark of buried pride ignited. The mind was her area of strength, her prime battlefield. There was no way that she could allow herself to be defeated by a ward like this one.

Angela began to try and focus. First trying to block out the pain, then shifting her mind to totally block out the exterior influence. There was no way she could strike back without her UEM, but controlling one's own mind was only a mater of internal discipline.

As Angela strengthens her mind's defense she slowly strengthens it. Pushing past the pain and focusing the outside force still rushes against her minds barriers like a flood on a levy, but for now she is able to hold it back if she dedicates a majority of her focus to it.

Hey sorry I've been gone, I went on vacation and thanks to some flight errors I haven't been able to get home as planned. Hopefully that's all behind me now.

H followed the group silently, staying towards the back to stay out of their sight and also to keep an eye on the rear and make sure they were safe. As they stopped to examine the nearby building, H overheard one of the scientists mention that they needed to get past the guards. Eager for a chance to become unseen, H approached those surveying the building. "If you need a way to get in undetected, I'm your man.", He said to them telepathically.

As H approached the group his message was heard in the mind of Dr. Dennis. The two gaurding the door way still seemed oblivious to Adam's advance and kept looking outward at the darkness of the city, themselves illuminated by two weak industrial lights overhead.

"I want you to relay your plan before going through with it. I will have no surprises on this mission," Regal ordered, transmitting his thoughts in a commanding manner. He did not wish for the experiments to be taking full reign on this operation, even if he respected agents of order.

Unsung awaited in the background, secretly hoping something would go awry so he could engage in some combat.

My blood ache's for flesh not my own!

His smile grew as he reached for the stitched wound on the side of his arm. He gripped the loose thread that held the slash on his arm closed and pulled it violently. The skin tore open, muscle clearly visible beneath.

Unsung's smile didn't fade for a moment, The brutal maiming of flesh was common for Unsung.

The blood welled at the site of the wound, but not in a normal manner. It seemed to seep forth and sway in a jelly-like state like a cobra preparing to strike.

"Of course, sir. You are familiar with my abilities, yes? I will camouflage myself and either neutralize the guards or infiltrate the building. I will allow you to decide which, sir." H replied respectfully.

Dr. Grejir felt only a slight pain in his head now, but Angela noticed that the pressure against her defenses increased dramatically, only to disapear mere moments later. Dr. Grejir and Angela now were no longer affected by the painful presence. Control sent out a message," What are you guys doing? And it seems that the vital spike has stopped now."

"Thank god, that was painful" Dr. Grejir said he walked behind H and looked at the building. "I would be grateful if you could infiltrate and tell us what is inside" He said

"Control, we are currently planning our assault. If something goes awry, you will know, do not worry," Regal replied robotically, so as not to offend. He wanted to tactfully tell command to give him and the team some breathing room to work without having to report in all the time.

"As for the infiltration, if there are patrols, or the guard shift changes, H will be compromised. We need a way to get by the guards without that happening. Facedancer's metamorphosis should be very useful in this situation, but he can only cloak himself in the image of one man. The other guard still poses a threat."

Angela was surprised at the sudden lowering of the mental pain. Had she been wrong? had that actually been some form of limited attack? Yet it's actually strength had actually been quite weak.

A proper mentalist would strike much harder, and a machine would not quit so quickly. Unless that had simply been a probe, meant to be a test of sorts. Or perhaps a machine that operated in pulses. Angela might have been close to a master of mental UEM, but her knowledge of the lab's mechanisms were almost nonexistent.

Either way she would need to be alert for a possible second wave as well as physical threats.

The presence seemed to have left completely as Dr. Dennis instructed the group. Control responded," Okay, I'll let you go ahead if you believe it will help with the mission. I'd say you have about two-ish hours if you want to get to the safehouse while it's still dark."

Just to let you know, Facedancer is the one who takes people's shapes

Facedancer turned to Regal, and gestured for attention "If a target can be isolated and removed, it can be replaced. Lure a guard to me, and with his face I can walk up to the other guard and remove him."

"That leaves the problem of a missing guard, Facedancer. We need to find a way to keep anyone from becoming suspicious. I want a sufficient safety net so that H won't get stressed out and blow his cover," Regal replied punctually, "Dr. Grejir, any ideas?"

"I could replace one guard, then engineer an entrance from within?"
suggested Facedancer, "Furthermore, if these are employees of Yang, this would be an excellent basis for infiltration of her organisation."

Shrendius made a silent prayer and kissed his lucky copy of " Cap'n hardass". He waled up to the two people at the front door and tried to walk through the door like he was supposed to be there.

Well I thought this thing was pretty dead, I may attempt a reboot, eventually, but I thought this thing was dead
Dr. Grejir approached the two men, who were suprised with his bold entry. He got close enough that he was able to land one punch, then he was wresteled to the ground by the two men. They spoke to eachother in Spanish, one telling the other to go inside to get the other guards.
