Angela couldn't help but smile a touch as she fixed her pouch to her belt. If Shrendius was going to continue grant such broad orders and suggestions then she would definitely find some way to use that.

"Yes master." She droned as she also secured the guns to her sash. She would rather not refer to him in such a way, but whatever it took to seem subservient and harmless...

"I agree. We should take the countryside route. If we telegraph our presence before we've even reached the safehouse, our targets will have the time and knowledge to upgrade their defenses," Regal stated clearly, broadcasting his thoughts to no-one in particular, "As soon as you all are ready, we should get going. I am going to get a fix on what our path looks like before night falls, so that we will not be traveling blind."

With that, he slipped outside the sanctuary of the spire and into the outside world, cloaked in bright orange light.

Control responded to Facedancer?s question through Adam, figuring him as the interpreter. ?Well, you don?t have a poison pill, it?s assumed that you?ll grow a rib through your heart or something of the like. And the thing about the false teeth is that they are really just vat grown teeth, so unless you try to go to a Metal Head meeting or something you should have no problems. About your target, Linda, she probably could get with the right people and make sure they ?discover? the right kind of things to get the tech to her standards.? He didn?t seem to be annoyed by any of the questions, he kept the same even, gravely voice. ?The White Tiger gun, well they don?t have anything working up to that level. Smart, exploding bullets exist though, but only in large caliber sniper rounds of special forces. Get all that??

As Dr. Dennis stepped outside he had to strain his neck up to see the full scope of San Defortuna. It seemed as if a giant had placed a light bulb in the earth. Sky Scrapers towered into the heavens and some even disappeared into the night sky. But saying it was the night sky would be misleading, the many lights of the city shone as bright as day. The central area was a tower of light shooting up into the sky. Sitting around this area like a bunch of toadstools were fields of shanty houses and derelict shacks. Lights shone from a few windows but all in all it looked like a man in his covers turned away from a bright lamp. On the right side of the central cities large factories, dull, grey things, stood like a walkway to the dark ocean that lapped against the myriad of docks jutting out to sea. To the left extended a long, flat plain, a far away mountain sticking up like finger pointed to the sky. On the field, near the city a pickup truck was illuminated by a large bonfire. It seemed that two men were throwing various items onto the great mass of destructive flame. ?Enjoy the view?? asked the controller to Dr. Dennis

Shrendius walked towards where the safe house was, behind regal. He hummed jollily as The Serpion coiled around his chest on the inside of his coat. He buttoned up his coat to hide it and look less conspicuous. He kept an eye on Angela. "Stay near me Angela, within 20 feet and within my sight"

Angela sped up a little to keep within the new boundaries of Shrendius's proximity. Once nearer she looked away for a moment to hide a grimace. Not only would such a limiting command have to be worked around somehow, but he had suddenly used her real name rather then her experimental designation.

Surely he could have been informed as a part of his briefing, but the sudden change of reference was disconcerting. There was the possibility that he was aware of her mental acts, he was a member of the Magi after all.

Angela redoubled her mental defenses as she responded. "Yes master."

Unsung's slender frame garbed his final piece of equipment, a black hooded duster. Obviously an attempt of providing Unsung with clothes to which would aid in his requirement of blending into society. It gave him bulk to mask the the blade still strapped to his straight jacket and the length covered the pistols in his pockets.The arms of the straight jacket still extended beyond the cuffs but this was a minor issue.

Unsung headed for the edge of the cloaking field after the two scientists and just behind the experiment refereed to as "Angela".
'She is more than what they see.' Unsung thought to himself.
'I wonder if we'll be chasing her next'. with that quip thought he allowed himself a giggle.
Unsung proceeded to step into blinding orange light

Facedancer nodded, and pocketed both weapons. She would need a way of disguising the White Tiger gun, or it would impede her infiltration. otherwise, ti would have to be left at a safe house. As she followed the others, she reflected on a choice of target: Linda Yang would be most susceptible to a sudden, unexpected attack, and the White Tiger gun would be less conspicuous.

Noticing that everyone had ceased moving Shrendius began to become worried. Maybe everyone is having a stroke Shrendius sighed deeply and pushed on towards the safe house. He looked at the large doors and grinned as he tried to push them open.

While I do agree that everyone's disaperance is odd (didn't expect to fail this fast) you guys are leaving the spire. OR do you just want to skip to the safehouse for the mission. (we'll say you were always there or something).

Well let's try to get this moving again. I'm just going to keep it on course, moving through the city before hand should lend some oppurtunities for more world explanation

The pillar behind you falls and all of you are exposed to the lights of the city. A few miles up to the left, in the low rolling hills next to the city the two people by the truck have stopped throwing things on the bonfire and seem to be chatting as they watch it burn. From the shanty towns the tell-tale sound of gunfire is heard. In the industrial district all seems quiet, the smoke slowly raising into the glowing sky.

Shren looked around briefly and started off towards the industrial district. "Angela stay within earshot and keep your eye out for anything suspicious, tell me when you see anything that could give us a lead"

crewman_number_6, if Regal uses his alternate vision mode (for spotting electric currents), will you describe what he sees?

"If I were to go rogue, I would probably make my home in the industrial district. That is where all of the tools for creating tech are located. Perhaps Ms. Yang thinks the same way," he suggested as he scanned the horizon intently. He swapped his Colt with his White Tiger pistol, hiding the White Tiger so as to be less conspicuous. He would use that for open combat, as the automatic fire would come in handy, but the gun would do nothing to help him remain hidden.

"I could've killed the two fellow's on the hill. Such a shame trying to avoid bloodshed is." Unsung complained aloud to no one in particular as he made his way towards the Industrial District,the smell of oils and grime were rife even at this distance.

Unsung rolled up the sleeves on his clothes to view the most recent scar he had received. along the side of his forearm ran a set of stitches sealing a large slash.

'Redundant.' Unsung thought. 'The cut is deep but hardly worth medical attention , it would have required no effort to seal with my blood.'

Unsung's eyes lifted from his arm back to guide him further into the domain of factories and smog before them.

The Facedancer made no comment, but instead followed the others. There was no call for it's powers, so it stuck close for protection.

Meanwhile, it studied Shren, learning the shape of his face and the way he moved...

All of you enter the industrial district, the night sky and towers of smoke conceling you in darkness. As Dr. Dennis scans the horizen he notices that on the top level of a nearby three story building under construction their are signals of high electronics. They seem to be signals of cybernetic linked weapons combined with light cybernetic implants but at this distance you can't be too sure. On the bottom level of this building their seems to be a large, highly complicated device about the size of a small boat. Also, it seems that there are no other machinery in the building. The other smoke covered buildings seem to contain factory machinery expected for this area.

As Dr. Grejir walks forward his eyes begin to burn and a pain develops in his head. As Angela walks she feels this same pain, the guard placed on her mind weaking as a pain akin to a severe migrane begins to develop. Control contacts both of them, "Is something wrong? Your vitals are spiking."

"I am trying to go to the industrial district and I keep getting a worse headache as I walk closer to it" He said as he grasped his head and knelt on the ground briefly closing his eyes and backing up slowly.

Adam notices the pain in the other two.

*Control, something is definitely wrong, but I can't figure out what*

Adam looks at the building, could that device be doing something? He needed to get a closer look, he decided to approach it with as much stealth as he could.
