Time to get this started

Prologue: Into the Wild
The Ursalian power rail glides through the air, carrying a most unusual cargo. A team of experiments and a few scientists are off on a mission into a strange land.
The tram, a sterile, white rectangular prism, glides through thin air held aloft by invisible tethers of energy. It was deep underground and if one looked over the side they would not be able to see the bottom of the shaft they rode through. There are 6 compartments, each one long enough for a man to take eight strides from one wall to the other. The first compartment holds the scientists, free to converse on the journey. One of them is a seer, his eyes used to seeing visions of the future. Accompanying him is a man with a troubled past, the past of his family weighing heavily on him. The second compartment holds an average looking man, his eyes droopy due to his recent awakening. Sitting across from this man is a creation, only identified by a wristband with his number on it. Flanked by two guards, he sits on a low bench with his hand handcuffed to pole behind him. The next compartment holds three individuals each one watched by a few security personnel. One of the men is unusually pale, smiling vehemently as his wooden doll swings on the chord tied around his neck. He is restrained by a white straightjacket that exerts a noticeable pressure on his skin. The next man in the car looks more ordinary, but has been a bit worn by the world. His hands are cuffed to a pole behind him and he is close enough to rub shoulders with the pale, smiling man. Across from them sat a man with scaled skin, all too aware of the many eyes looking at him. His arms were bound to the pole behind him as the others.
The next car contains the only female setting out in this mission. She is clad in a simple robe, her familiar pouch empty to prevent any unwise actions. Two guards stand opposite of her, making sure she attempts nothing. No noise can be heard from the next car, the experiment there was reticent, though not by his own choice. A tacit focus filled the room as the highly trained guards of that car held the restrained man in their gaze. The train would soon reach its station, but until then these people were left with their thoughts.
